November 2023 by Dyanna Hernandez
The YWCA has been ABSOLUTELY no help at all! I was assaulted on November the 16th I showed up to the YWCA to get help with a black eye, a busted up lip, and other bruises on my neck and face. I have an incident number and a protection order. I can not go back home even though both my husband and I are on the lease. These people refused me services. I've tried two other times to get support to no avail.

November 2023 by Making It Easy
They don't help Domestic Violence women. They have turned away literally every person I have ever referred to them. They don't care if there is a dangerous situation. I believe they have zero empathy for what people are going through. They are NOT MAKING IT EASY!

The housing advocate promised me money to get moved in, and now all the sudden they can’t. I’ve been ignored and now probably homeless because of YWCA and the Native American Community Center. Do not go to these places for any type “assistance .” of “ The FY 2023 supplemental budget was enacted in March 2022 and included a revised $64.1 billion in general fund spending and $130.9 billion in total spending.” Plus on top of the marijuana dispensaries also donating thousands of dollars and yet they “don’t have enough funds” to help. I’m just not buying it.

Reaching out isn’t easy so getting ignored when you do is just wrong. I emailed for discretion, someone emailed back, I answered their questions and they disappeared. Sad to think they are supposed to be helping women escape dangerous situations but can’t even be bothered.

When I was receiving help with rent they seemed to be some decent people. Then I was discriminated against. Cassie was my case manager and she seemed to be ok in the beginning. After I was wrongfully evicted it seemed as if they didn’t want to help me and my children anymore. I keep hearing people say people are using the system. It’s not the black people tho. It’s the Caucasian people out here that are strung out on drugs. It’s also the Caucasian people that are abusing the money that funds these programs. Chose who you donate to wisely cause these people are only serious about helping the wrong people. Don’t disclose your race if you are anything other than Caucasian.THIS PROGRAM NEEDS TO BE DEFUNDED AND ALL CURRENT EMPLOYEES FIRED.

They are MANDATING people where masks for services. I explained I am allergic to the plastic and latex in disposable masks. I stated I would gladly where a cloth one because of my allergy ( seriously painful) they denied services because they have strict policy. I stated I would gladly where a cloth mask due to a allergy. There solution was where a plastic shield (yet again a severe allergy). They just said we can't help you. So due to a medical allergy documented I was denied access. So bring your masks if you need service's. I know have to drive 45 minuets to get the correct masks.

I agree they are a joke. And any business and or help place needs to STOP using Covid-19 as an excuse for not working. It's old people.I use to donate to them always, never ever again.I needed help with business attire for a new job I got. All the receptionist would say is sorry try us again end of summer. So much for nthe job. Thanks you terrible people

YWCA is a very poor company they claim to empower women and help children. But instead they put them down and help them break the law especially one of the lawyers named Kelsey Kittleson. If you want to destroy your family and children then I advise going to ywca and asking for Kelsey. If you want what's best for your children and family I would stay clear of the ywca. There way of empowering people is letting them go homeless and with there kids and help them break the law to get money from the other parent. They claim that services are free and then they will charge you or the other party. They do not help kids instead they let them go homeless and split siblings up.
