My boys just spent their 2nd year here at camp this summer! This was the first sleep away camp my kids have ever been to and they have nothing but good things to say! They come home talking about how much fun they have every year. The counselors are awesome and they have so much to offer. If you're thinking about sending your kids, do it!

Rotary Youth Exchange spent the past weekend at Camp Killoqua for our new student orientation. From the spacious gathering area, perfect for group activities, to the dorms and bathrooms, to the mess hall, the building sizes and amenities provided the space and facilities we needed for our group. The Great Outdoors there, however, just never seemed to end! Fitz, the Rec Leader, bought his calm leadership, people skills, and expertise to bear while instructing students whose English skills ranged from very basic to fluent. The kids were enthralled with the archery range, high trees rope course, and canoes. They huddled at the fire pit each night for music, singing, chatting , and marshmallows. The memories made here will stay with the kids and adult leaders for a lifetime. Thanks for providing the perfect venue!

WATERFALL...Our school trip the Camp Killoqua was amazing. All the staff were wonderful. Our group really enjoyed our Counselor, Fish. All the activities were a lot of fun. Including canoeing, rock climbing, archery, skit night with s'mores, and all the time in the forest. The dirt gaga ball pit was a blast. The food was really good and plentiful with seconds offered at every meal and desserts after dinner. It was a great experience, and will not be soon forgotten. Thank you all for the adventures.

I was googling this camp to see if it was still in operation… I was a camper there faithfully each year from 3 rd grade to my 7th grade summer and I truly loved it wish I lived in Washington state still so my kids could have this experience also. But unfortunately we are in Florida. I highly recommend this camp to anyone in the Washington area it’s well worth it !!! It gave me confidence in myself and I made friends with girls that I still keep in touch with thirty years later !!! I still remember singing camp songs in the dining hall after each meal !!! lol “ I’m from CAMP Killoqua .. camp killoqua… camp killoqua … “. Watermelon football the fairy dust a the dinosaur eggs a making ice cream … making banana s’more’s under the fire … this was one of the best childhood memories I have!!! I even broke my nose one trip by falling off a top bunk in my sleep but finished my week there in enjoyment !!!! I will be making a monetary donation. GO CAMP KILLOQUA

The camp Kiloqua overnight summer camp was a great traditional camp with canoeing, games, swimming etc. my child has joined last 3 years and enjoyed it. The camp is wonderful and known for and unique of its inclusion of kids and staff with different LGBTQ+ and gender identities. There are special sessions for kids with special needs, although impressive at working to include students in all sessions.

I love this place! Great food for dietary differences, they are able to have medicine without trouble if needed, and it’s so lgbtqa+ friendly!

My child absolutely loved the day camp experience at Killoqua. Kudos. As a parent, I was slightly less satisfied, which is why only 4 stars. Communication is currently lacking. My child had already went 2 days into a themed day camp and “then” finally received an email that listed an itinerary of what was needed for this camp. 2 out of the 5 days days with no clue was frustrating. This information should have been sent out a week prior.I hope that this was a 1 time mix-up, but the email made no such effort to apologize or explain, so this lack of professionalism may be a managerial red flag…we’ll see.UPDATE: I immediately received a reply to the small frustration, which confirmed that the communication mix-up was a 1 time problem caused from extenuating circumstances. This is a relief. 5 stars because everyone deserves a 2nd chance.

Very fun place to go to with friends and family! Loving atmosphere and the food is to die for. Summer away camp is great and so are the events thrown throughout the rest of the year.
