Would rather get local meat than give my money to a big grocery store. This also supports local farmers and 4h kids if you opt to buy a whole 1/2 or 1/4 of an animal. If you are a hunter they do large game possessing as well.

Don’t buy a 1/4 or 1/2 cow from Del Fox!!
Our recent experience was terrible. From the beginning it was difficult to get info on what cuts we would get. Our group bought a total of 1 1/4 cow. When we were presented with an order sheet after receiving a quote and committing we saw that we weren’t getting a fair percentage of all cuts but only the lesser back half cuts (top and bottom round, sirloin, etc.) In fact she said don’t worry, it may not all come from the same cow??
When we picked it up everything was already frozen solid and no weights were on any packaging. I waited to post a review until I ate a fair portion of the meat. It is sub standard, sinewy and some has an odd taste. In addition we did not get the weight we expected unless you count all the ground beef they “threw in” that she said was loose scraps ground up. Very inspiring…
Here is what I think. They slaughter a cow and put all the good cuts (Rib eye, tenderloin, etc. etc) in their store glass cases to sell to people looking to buy steaks to grill then they take the lesser cuts from the cow and throw them in the freezer. No packages had weights or dates on them. When people come in looking to save money by buying a 1/2 or 1/4 cow to save money they get the stuff in the freezer that is harder to sell thus not from the same cow and probably not the ‘just slaughtered” freshness. So please people go to another meat store.

Wow ! After reading the reviews on customer service , I was wondering how I was going to be treated over the phone. I called Del Fox today at 12:30.
Gentlemen answered the phone. I told him I would like to place an order over the phone for pick up sometime today. He said okay
The phone conversation was no more than 3 minutes long. I already knew what I wanted to order five items before I gave him the 5th item he says I have that in my case I said okay I gave him the fifth item I wanted he said I have that in my case as well I said okay well I don't know what you mean by that. He tells me he's got a line of people there and I could come in and just pick the stuff out and pay for it then I tell him I wanted to place this order on the phone because I'm on crutches and I'm having a friend coming there to pay and to pick up the items that's why I'm doing this over the phone I ship Seafood all around the world I know what customer service is about no matter how busy you are you take that time with that customer that conversation was almost completely done order would have been taken he said I'm sorry I didn't know you were on crutches I said never mind cancel the order the order was a little over $100 doesn't matter if it was over $100 or if it was for $5 it's the point.
Really bad first impression of this place, and I've never even been there yet, and I never will.
I will travel 30 miles to Double D Meats in Mountlake Terrace and have excellent customer service. No matter how busy they are, customers are willing to wait bad attitudes towards customers, in any business goes downhill. I'm not sure what's up with the employees at this Del Fox. Maybe they're not being treated right, or they need to clean shop and get a new crew with positive people.

Not only do they butcher our steers but the also have the best beef in Snohomish county and at a price I can afford! I love Del Fox meats!

Very nice shop for getting custom meats and butcher jobs. They have cut up two cows for us and they did an amazing wrapping. The meats lasted for two years in the freezer with absolutely no burn. They offer smoking meats on weekends. Next visit I'll come hungry. Pleasant staff..plenty parking.

Everyone that works here is amazing. They’re so polite and helpful. This is why we drive 4 hours to have them butcher for us!
