Today I took my dog in for a scheduled grooming appointment at 1:00pm. The groomer told me my dog would be ready by 3:00pm if not earlier. I went into Petco at 3:00pm. The groomer told me she hadn’t even started on my dog yet. She said that walk ins and phone calls took up her time. I told her I’d just take my dog since it had been 2 hours. She went to the back and brought out a dog and tried to hand it to me. It wasn’t my dog. She then said that she was almost done with my dog. We finally left there at 3:30pm. We will NOT be returning.

I am incredibly disappointed I have been coming here for years now and it was my daughters 5th bday and we were coming to pick out her hamster she had been saving up for about 9 months. We came in 15min before close to just pick it out and buy it and we were met with the most rude, rushing and interrupting employee. I was asking to see the hamsters and if we could see which ones were friendly. She refused to handle them for me or even allow me to touch them with other objects to see if they were friendly for our family. She was then saying that I had to hurry up and pick one out and I explained my daughter is excited and its her b day and to give us more patience. And she just kept insisting that we had to hurry up. I was frustrated by the customer service and left due to that. I will not be getting my pet supplies here ever again due to this customer service.

Love this Petco. Great customer service, we shop here frequently for our 5 pets plus fish.
My dogs are in advanced training here with Jess. She's a knowledgeable trainer and we've had a few significant breakthroughs. Highly recommend!

Our brief interaction with store staff was positive. We ordered a product online and drove down to pick it up. Store appeared clean and we would visit and order from here again. We cannot speak for other products and services, but Petco has some awesome aquarium deals when they have them.

Do not take your Doodle here for a groom. I'm a responsible doodle mom that makes sure my girl gets a full grooming service every 6-8 weeks. Our puppy is nearly a year and we have never had matting. Our regular groomer moved and is farther away, so we decided to try Petco. Hey, it was good enough for our Weimaraner to get a bath and a nail trim. So, at 7.5 weeks since the last groom we took her in, explained we wanted her to stay curly, lashes trimmed, beard short (Neary shaved) and legs on the shorter side, but still long enough to curl. There was no matting. I brush her several times a week and did a once over the night before with a rake and a comb, parting to see the skin to make sure no tangles escaped... she came back shaved except for her tail and her head. She looks ridiculous. There are no curls. If you don't want to groom a doodle, don't. But petco tried to tell me that's what I asked for. Um... nope. I'll never take a dog here for grooming again. I will drive to find someone who knows what they're doing. And for the record, they didn't try to tell me there was matting. Again, they tried to tell me I asked for my dog to be cut at 1/2 inch. That's a shave, folks, and not what I asked for or what a doodle cut is.

Damian is such a gentleman and a scholar. We love him. He's kind, patient, helpful and just a solid human being.When Ai becomes all powerful I hope we gain the knowledge that allows us to copy and clone Damian. We want like 10 of him.

I have been purchasing aquarium fish for years from this store without any issues, until recently. The sales attendant actually refused to sell me a goldfish and argued with me. Time to shop somewhere else.
