I am just a customer of their hamburger patties, I buy packages from stores in Spokane Wa. Like at Walmart , WinCo , Sonnebergs . Never had no problem before, until lately . I on 1/20/20 bought a package and from WinCo . There was suppose to be twenty patties , but was cheated out of one. Only got 19. When I called the company up in the morning of 1/21/20 I talked with a guy about it. He called me back , they took my name , number , and address. He told me they would be sending me out a gift card . Said they appreciate my business. Well I been waiting looking for it in my mail, never got it yet. So I wonder after being asked several times over and over my contact info , did they get it right ? And when and where to that they sent it to ?? I think they forgot about me , like it was a lie or they never cared to make it right. Never have they sent it to me at my address, I'm still waiting. It shouldn't take a whole week or never to come if it was properly mailed to me. I called post office over there , to ask how long does it take to get from there to here and five days no weekend no holiday for mailing days. Tried calling them back making contact with a gal trying to find out who it was I talked to last week. It was one of the named owners of company I remember his name. She just took my message and said after on hold they'll call me back. Still no call back. Been awhile since earlier . I guess I'll never buy their meats again.

Having worked there for a short time myself when I needed the income, I can say that I'm glad to have had the opportunity and was treated fairly. Worked hard, made money, moved on. The job was fast paced and the overtime was grueling in the busy season, but I was happy to get paid every week for all my hours including overtime. Schenk sponsors all the local youth sports teams in the area, creates hundreds of jobs within the community and provides the local stores with quality beef.

Had some of Schenk Packing's Picnic Perfect beef patties at a group BBQ yesterday. The parties were white when they came out of the box. White. I thought maybe they were severely freeze burned so I broke one in half and looked at the interior. Still white. I cooked them and the looked like turkey burgers. I have never seen white beef before. The ingredient statement said the first 2 ingredients were beef and beef heart. Now, I'm not opposed to beef heart as it is just a muscle, but it is a deeply red muscle...not white. Don't buy these. Scary.
