I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for Stilly yet!!! Lindsey has basically created a home away from home for me. I swing by the shop 2-3 times a week. Often I’ll leave with more yarn and notions (because buying yarn is its own hobby), but there have been plenty of times when I’ve just had the chance to hang out with fellow fiber nerds and work on a project.I’ve made a number of friends through the shop, have taken multiple classes, have signed up for even more classes, and always look forward to visiting.Lindsey’s prices on everything are amazing and she’s so incredibly helpful in both troubleshooting and locating items you want that she doesn’t have in shop.I cannot recommend this yarn shop enough. I bring all of my friends who visit from out of town to see the shop - even those who aren’t fiber artists - because the cozy, welcoming vibe she’s created is impeccable.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store has a variety of yarn at different price points. Definitely worth a visit of you're close to Stanwood!

Lindsey is the best! She taught us how knit and recommended everything for getting started including showing us firsthand. I still go to her from all the way across the country for her help with projects. The yarn selection is also great and well organized!

I’ve been going to Stilly River Yarns for the past 4ish years. Lindsey (the owner) is great! Super nice and very knowledgeable. She makes the store a very welcoming place. I love how she listens to her customers and stocks her store with their interests/needs. I love this place.

I am always on the hunt for a good yarn store that honors spinners, weavers, dyers, knitters, and crochet artists by selling high quality products and offering excellent service. I first met Lindsay over 10 years ago and followed her from one shop to her own shop, Stilly River Yarns, named for the Stillaguamish River. Highly recommend stopping by even if it means taking a brief detour on a drive up north on I-5.

This is a small yarn store where everyone is made to feel welcome. I visited for the first time yesterday and the owner was very warm and inviting. She has designed her store around carrying the must haves (needles and notions) with selected yarns from local and national yarn companies. While I was at the store several customers came in that were having repairs done to their knitwear, which is amazing. I will definitely be back, as this is the first yarn store to treat me like a friend not just a customer.

Lovely place! Small but great selection of yarn that is logically laid out. Store owner, Lindsey, is very knowledgeable about her tarn and very willing to help. Lots of good selections. Store samples are nicely done and well labeled with pattern information and yarn used. I walked in to buy a local dyer sock yarn as a trip souvenir but left with a sweater vest's worth of yarn and. Notions to complete. No hard sell here but Lindsay is willing to get you need. I'll definitely give her a chance when I need to mail order.
