Beacon Rock State Park is an excellent place to spend time as a couple or as a family. It offers a favorite hike with fantastic and amazing views that are breathtaking and very nice. The hike to the summit is scenic and serene, though it requires a little physical condition and can be steep, making you dizzy. The guarded ledge makes it family friendly. The park also has a great campground with very clean bathrooms and showers. It is absolutely unmissable and highly recommended.
Fantastic hike up Beacon Rock. Great views of the Columbia River. Easy hike, good for hiking with kids.

One of my favorite hikes in the Vancouver/Portland area. The view is amazing. The guarded ledge along the mountain made it family friendly.
