North Bank Books is a small, well-organized independent bookstore located in downtown Stevenson. Despite its cozy size, it offers a wide-ranging and thoughtfully curated collection, focusing on Indie Next titles rather than best-sellers. The store features a children's section in the center, making it family-friendly, and also carries non-book items like greeting cards, activity kits, candles, mugs, and gift cards. The staff is friendly and helpful, often providing book recommendations, especially for children, who enjoy browsing the kid’s area and sitting on the carpet to explore new books. Customers appreciate the fair prices on both new and used books, with a good selection for all ages and interests. The store also offers special items such as puzzles, activity sets, and a notable collection of JRR Tolkien memorabilia. Customers can request specific books online, by phone, or in person, and the store supports local shopping with a fun, eclectic selection. Overall, North Bank Books is a welcoming spot for book lovers seeking unique finds and good service.
Fun bookstore with a refreshing variety of books and games. Staff are friendly and interesting.

Lovely shop with a great selection. I picked up the best kids books and love that they offer a lot of regional authors and artists. Nicely organized and curated selection. Even got a few things for me. Shop local!
