A true gem in the area. Loved the fact that they had books from a local author, it was even signed. Will be returning soon to get the rest of the collection. It's always nice to see local bookstores and authors working together. Go check them out. You won't regret it, I highly recommend going on a Friday to experience local musicians also making an appearance.

Cute little quaint place. Cozy place for the book worms to cuddle up in a chair & read their hearts out. There's even live music sometimes I'm told

There are a handful of different vibes a bookstore can have. This one is a familiar one: a bit disorganized with books stacked haphazardly here and there, lots of old wood and creaky floors, and a shopkeeper who is friendly and a bit apologetic for the mess. This is not my particular vibe for bookstores, but I recognize that some people will thoroughly enjoy it. Nice to have a place like this around.

Better than a library, more books than half price and at way better prices! Author signings, live music with actual well known talents, open mics, artwork, gifts, stationery, and stickers,, all in an atmosphere that can't be beat, served up with a remarkable variety of. Drinks, handmade fresh snacks and espresso drinks made with care by Jim who owns and operates it all putting his wonderful personal touch to your visit, making every time an experience in warmth and acomodation. Kiss the Sky is a bookworm's favorite nook, a bibliophile's secret getaway, an artist's home away from home and a dreamer's delight.Research here to your heart's content while the scent of espresso augments the smell of ink and paper.Wander through the tall stacks of thousands of books in the muted chaos of a home library that makes both the finding of old friends and meeting of new adventures constantly surprising and exciting. The stage in the front is often in a bustle of activity, as the events of the week prepare and play out. This hub of small town activities and connection stands out as a place that one can think a little outside the box and connect with new ideas and people.Bookstore, gallery, gift shop, coffee house, entertainment venue and more; this is a Washington State gem you just can't miss! Just a block off highway 2 and so well worth the short detour! Hope to meet you there someday!

Roger Fisher playing at Kiss the sky books in Sultan, My second helping at the venue seeing Roger, Not a bad seat in the house, Roger always entertaining and guest performers are also top notch. The history of this bookstore is intriguing and the owners have really worked hard to revive the building along with Mr Fishers continued presence this is a great opportunity to see local and new performers from around the area. Of course there is a large selection of books, records, and other to purchase including a in house coffee shop with sodas and soon to have libations aswell. You really can't go wrong with a visit anytime and you would be doing a solid by supporting this business!!

I have had bad experiences with Sultan businesses, lately, not being open when their signs say they are. I confirmed the sign said open 9-6, M-F (although I think it says it's closed on Wednesdays.) I went on a Tuesday morning at 9:30, and no dice. Just a tumbleweed rolled across the abandoned street, under the evacuated heavens. I didn't bomb the review, despite my heightened sense of victimhood and resentful revenge fantasy, because I will come back, and I want them to succeed very much.It was definitely a missed opportunity, one that we could have shared-- together.

I love a good used book store and this one is no exception. We stopped in while visiting from Delaware and loved the setup. Very cool artistic shelves, a set up for music, coffee, and a great selection of used books at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong!

Beautiful cozy spot! The owners are striving to make it a music and book friendly location for socializing and people to meet up. I can't wait to go back! All used book prices are decent. Very Old books are also fairly priced.

I have had the pleasure of coming in a few times. The coffee is good, the environment is totally relaxed. The owner is very friendly. If you are a book lover, this little nook is perfect to just kick back and relax in while you enjoy what you love!

I really love this little book store! I like how it's ran by a fellow book lover and organized just enough to not take away from the treasure hunt that people, like myself, thoroughly enjoy everytime we walk in here! Highly recommend!
