If you are interested in Japanese maples, this is the place to go. From the curious to the seasoned grower, this has something for everyone. The owner (one person does it all) showed us around, took the time to understand what we were looking for as well as our light, soil, and watering requirements, explained the different trees to us, and helped us make the best choices for us. For someone like me that absolutely loves Japanese Maples, I could have wandered around all day, bathing in the incredible beauty of this place.

We were recommended by our landscaper to go to Higashi Nursery as they have the very best selection of Japanese lace leaf maple trees. We were greeted by Mrs. Higashi who took us on a tour of the various varieties of Japanese maples they have grown. We were truly amazed by the variety and beauty of so many beautiful maples. We found one that we really liked and brought it home. Great experience as we are so happy with our new lace leaf maple!

If you have even a bit of attraction to Japanese maples, you will wander around this nursery admiring, and wondering how you can find another spot in your yard for all the variety. When it's time to choose, the owner will make you feel all the care and love that was put into growing them, as well as how you can have that same success with the ones you bring home. Not even a question where you should buy a Japanese maple from, local and very reasonable prices. This is worth the time and drive.

This nursery was a surprise for me, they specialize in Japanese Maples. The nursery looks like is close or abandoned but they are open and ready to help you. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable, she walk us and explain about every variety of maples from how to take care of them and forward. We ended up buying one Japanese Maple and for sure we will come back to buy more.

The best place to buy Japanese maples anywhere I have bought a lot of Japanese maples wish I had known about this place sooner the Japanese lady that runs the place is great she will negotiate with you on the price very reasonably priced she knows all about the maple trees lots of different kinds mini greenhouses only open till 4 have to honk three times she'll come out from one of the greenhouses to help you very down-to-earth

Super cool hole in the wall mom & pop nursery, run by a sweet older Japanese couple for the last 40 years. They focus on maples, potential bonsais, plus rhododendron and azaleas. Other seasonal misc but the biggest selection anywhere of maples and azaleas!! Some really beautiful specimens, which look very mature and well cared for.

We've purchased a few plants/trees from Higashi Nursery over the last few years and three more today. They have all been happy and healthy. You don't just get get a plant, you get all the love that they have put into them over the years, knowledge about it and how to take care it it after you leave. We love supporting them and will continue to visit the nursery in the future.

Wonderful nursery!! The owner was kind and helpful, and a very wide selection of plants trees and veggie plants. I cannot reccomend enough for your tree and landscaping needs. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Definitely the best nursery in the Bonney Lake/Sumner area for trees. Does not have indoor plants but has absolute everything else.

Super friendly owners. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Expansive inventory of Japanese Maples. Don't be fooled by the modest low key signage out front. Drive on down the entry to look around.
