Lori N. Is by far the worst customer service experience I have had. On 1/29 my mom and I were checking out at self check out and she was very rude, giving us dirty looks and making condescending faces and remarks, acting like a total child. I don't know if she was mad because she had to come over twice and fix the screen or what but it's very disappointing that winco hires people like that. I don't know if she has a problem with Hispanic people but she didn't talk or treat anyone else that she was helping like that. It's sad to see elderly minorities being treated like this by people that are supposed to be of service to them.

I visited the store 9/2/23 at approximately 9:00 pm. Visitor for the first time in the state of Washington to visit Mount Rainier. We stopped by this store to buy Shelly food for hiking the following day. The store was not busy at all. As we were checking out the lady at the counter who I described as an Asian descent, lady wearing a lot of makeup. I sincerely apologize that I was not able to get her name nor the number of the register we were in. My point is that as we were checking out, my husband was purchasing a Michelada beer. She proceeded to ask him for an ID my husband who has dual citizenship did not have his Texas drivers license on him so he showed her his Mexico ID. She stated that she could not take that ID since it was from Mexico. I asked her where in the store policy it stated that she could not take an ID from another country to purchase alcohol. She stated she could not take the ID since it was from Mexico. I then told her "you're telling me that someone that visits from another country can't purchase alcohol in the states and her response was not from Mexico." She then told me that we needed to go back, and I said, what do you mean go back and she retracted and said I didn't say that. I was very upset, and could not believe that I was being discriminated for showing an ID for Mexico. I asked to speak to a manager. Cashier next to her, which was a tall older white man agreed with her about the Mexico ID. My husband,is very shy and does not like attention asked for us to please leave. We left all our food We're going to buy on the conveyor belt and we walked out. My husband said he was not going to spend his money at a store where we were being discriminated for showing Mexico ID. I was so upset and could not believe what was happening. I wish I would have recorded this woman and how she told us to go back and then took back her words. We were visiting the state of Washington, for the first time which we fell in love with. And I know that the treatment from that woman does not reflect on the store but on her own racial beliefs.

I purchased fresh vegetables including one bag of red potatoes, one small bag of russet potatoes and one bunch of fresh celery. These products were anything but good, the celery was limp and warm to touch. Both bags of potatoes had molded potatoes and soft mushy ones, and they smelled terrible!!! Never buying fresh produce there again!!!

I went in Saturday I should have known better because stores are usually busy on weekends. Prices are great, but the reason I am rating 5 stars and leaving a review is for the checker who helped me. Thank you Jenny for making my shopping experience here amazing I hope to see you again. 5 stars for you!!

Prices are phenomenal, the bulk section is great and staff is always friendly. NOTE: you cannot use a credit card here so be prepared to pay in other manners.

Me and my roommate hate the winco by us. So we drive the extra 20 minutes just to go to this winco. We love it. Worth it.

I like this store better than federal way more aisle room and of course a lot newer the people as well but lately the hot deli has been mismanaged the last three times no chicken wings and a shortage of food in general that hole area is so small probably frustrating for the workers but overall great store with great prices

I come here every two weeks for groceries and they go beyond the standard every time. The shelves are fully stocked 9/10 times and have great deals! I can get a full cart of food for around $120 each time for a family of 3. The store is always clean and staff is friendly. They also have a large selection of produce in different seasons so I can find most of the the different fruits and veggies I want. I also like that they sell organic and vegan products! People should shop at WinCo more!

One of the cleaner WinCo's that I've been to. I'll visit this one over any other in the area even if it's a little further away. I only wish that they credited for bringing your own shopping bags like other WinCo's. Other than that, this is my go-to store when I'm stocking my food supplies.

I understand all the stuff with COVID, I'm a person with COPD and severe breathing/asthma. I went to WinCo today to shop, and felt horrible by the time I left. I'm shopping minding my own business and I'm being talked about, I'm being glared at, and given dirty looks. They made an announcement about wearing masks and I'm the only one with out one so I know it's directed at me. I decide I was tired of all the looks and whispering about me so I go to check out. The cashier spoke to the lady in front of me and customers behind me when it was their turn. I didn't feel any thing said to me not how's your day, not here is your change, and not even have a good day. I got lots of rude looks and when my transaction was done she started using hand sanitizer and wiping stuff down before I could even leave her site. I've never been treated so poorly and been looked at like I'm scum until today. All around horrible experience, and I have a medical history and documentation verifying that I can't wear a mask, but that was not ever asked. It was the worst experience ever.

Great service helpful and kind,I decided to write this review because at least at this time winco respects exceptions to those who can't wear a mask due to health issues. It's one of few places I shop now.

I shop here weekly at the summer location. Very taken back by the short male behind the customer service desk a little over a week ago. Very rude and interrupted me while I was trying to explain my concern. Normally everyone is nice except this person which ruins it for me for the whole store. Then I find out that they are now ringing people up back to back so your bagging your groceries 12 inches from another persons face! I was told people were complaining about having to wait. Then go somewhere else! Oh wait winco wants to please them before the people who are trying to be safe. I know we're I stand now. So this past week was there again and the same short male was in the grocery section. I noticed him a few times and he was always projecting a pissed off attitude. Never said hi, excuse me, thank you or anything. Bye Winco!! Onto a better service store
