I’ve been filling my prescriptions here along with my wife and son for years. I recently had a change in insurance but the pharmacy did not delete my previous information when they added the new one, and continued to fill them with the wrong card. Because of that I ended up paying close to $700 in copays before realizing what had happened. I spoke with the pharmacy manager who was very understanding and tried his he’s to help me, but in the end, his hands were tied by management telling him it had been too long, and there was nothing they could do to help me. One of the reasons so much time had passed, was due to the efforts I put in with my previous insurance company on two different levels to see if they would be able to help me with the overpayment. Unfortunately, since the mistakes took place at that store with them failing to use my correct information on file, they said there was nothing they could do about it. I was then told I could try to solve the issue myself by calling Rite Aid customer service and talk with someone in management to explain what happened and see if they would work with me to reimburse what should me mine. After making six calls over the past month and a half, and being told they have a 72hr call back policy each time, I still haven’t heard anything from management. I can’t help but feel like they simply don’t care.
As for being too long to do anything, I’m curious what the statute of limitations is for taking money out of someone’s pocket and not being obligated to return it, and/or at least feel like it’s the right thing to do in returning that money? At this point, I’m still hopeful Rite Aid will understand the situation and reimburse me for their mistake, but my confidence is waning. If not, I can’t, in good conscience continue to fill prescriptions here or shop at any Rite Aid store moving forward and forever. In the end, it just doesn’t feel right and unfortunately for them, the amount of money they will not receive from me will be far more than it would’ve cost them to simply do the right thing.

Got a prescription a month ago that was partial and was told they didn’t have the rest so to call them when I was running low. Fast forward to today I call them and they claimed I was given the full amount and that it wasn’t standard procedure to give partial prescriptions out. The bottle I was originally given was written with pen the partial amount and they claimed it was not their handwriting. What a joke.

Urgent care sent a prescription on 12/26 was not ready came at 10 am next day it was not ready came back again at 4 pm same day still not ready and would had to wait 30 mins if wanted it filled or told that if come back tomorrow wouldn't guarantee it would be filled. If urgent care or hospital send a prescription I would think that it would be ready. BiMart never had customers wait 2 days for a prescription.I agree pharmacy customer services sucks. Especially from the pregnant gal that was working.

Scheduled an appointment for a COVID booster. Showed up, waited 20 minutes in line and was told they couldn’t do it because they are too busy filling prescriptions. Major inconvenience and very unprofessional. Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible.

When you call in for medicine 24 hrs. ahead of time and you get there they don't have it ready. They say it will take 30min. if you wait or it's 1hr. if you leave and come back. If you are trying to lose customers you're doing a good job of it.I will not be back.
