Dr Shor is the greatest person I have ever met! He has curated a team of loving staff that are supportive and caring. We love the extra love and care they provide our fur baby. I also am so appreciative of Blue Pearl and their mission! Their staff is passionate about the work that they are doing and are extremely responsive to calls and concerns!

My dog was very ill with a life threatening uterine infection. They wanted 13000 dollars before they would even start any kind of service to help her. Every min that passed her chances of survival got smaller and smaller. They refused to help her what so ever until I paid that in full. When I was unable to come up with the money they suggested I euthanize her. They suggested it four times even. They charged me 1000 dollars and they did absolutely nothing for her. Didn't even give me antibiotics. They said I left ama because I refused to kill my dog. I brought her home , bought my own antibiotics and I'm happy to say that with no help of this place by any means. My baby is happy healthy plays eats. And is rid of the infection. I'm glad I didn't listen to them when the urges me to kill her. They told me she would only get worse.but she only got better . It's been a couple months now and she is doing great. BUT NO THANKS TO THESE PEOPLE WHAT SO EVER. IF I could have rated lower in the negative that is what I would do. I don't understand how a place that's supposed to care about animals can just sit and let one die without a second thought. They wouldn't even help her then let me come up with the rest of the money just to save her life.

Under no circumstances woul I recommend you taking your pet to the facility. We took our kitty there on an emergency basis; we were not permitted to witness the exam. The total length of time for the exam was about 12 minutes. Nevertheless, the vet who was the attending veterinarian came out about six minutes after the exam and gave us a detailed and itemized and apparently pre-printed $12,000 proposed fee schedule for surgery for the cat.Although our cat was fairly ill, we elected to get a second opinion from our regular, veterinarian who happen to be closed on the day we chose to go to blue Pearl. The next morning, when we went to our veterinarian, he did an extremely thorough examination of the cat in front, and said he could detect no swelling or masses in her abdominal cavity. There was no extant condition requiring surgery or even medication; but there was something wrong with the cat for which he gave her probiotics and an appetite stimulant. We brought her home with us and she is on the mend.Under no circumstances should you consider this place either for emergency purposes or as a regular veterinary care facility.

Went there and had a staff lie to me saying that they could save my puppy, we were told, "she wasn't in bad shape" from the injury. After they sounded convincing, I went on to pay 3k up front just to have my puppy with the same symptoms 24 hours later. After 3 days of ups and downs trying to be optimistic, wehad to pay another $500 to put our 3 month old puppy to sleep.I feel they take advantage of people emotions, to make us feel there's a chance just to get your money. In reality, there was never a chance.R.I.P to our little baby pomeranian

The doctor & staff at BluePearl were wonderful! They were kind, very thorough, and did everything that they could to care for our dog after she was bitten by another dog. Though we hope to not have to use them again for an emergency situation, we absolutely would go back in a heartbeat if needed! Yes, it may be a long wait at times, but consider how you would want the staff to address your pet first if they came in critical condition.

Absolutely rude and inconsiderate, and traumatizing. They don’t care if your pet is dying and will yell at you and make you look at your dying dog even if you say you didn’t want to see them die.

Very professional and clean ER. If i have any other emergencies I won't hesitate to come here. Only down side is it's not in the greatest strip mall.

Kelsey (I’m not 100% sure of the spelling) took care of my sweet boy like he was her own. She was so kind, answered all my crazy questions, and calmed me from all the distress of my cat being sick.I just wanted to take the time to let everyone know how much of a blessing it is to have Kelsey working at your clinic. She cares about her job and the pets. Thank you.

Way too expensive. They say they are competitive with market rates but honestly it’s cheaper to drive else where even if it’s in Portland. It will save you 3k or more.

I called ahead and they weren’t going to be able to get us in for 3 hours but we got there and got in within an hour. My pet ingested some pills and they worked with poison control and followed all protocols and my pup is fine. We are pleased with their service

I took my cat in to be seen. His back leg has been bothering him and he had a seizure. The doctor was very helpful, and did everything she could for him. However, they put the IV in the leg that was bothering him, and they left bandage on his leg after discharging him and giving him back. He’s a big cat 25lbs. I can’t get it off him. He’s very protective of his leg and I don’t know what to do about it. They should have removed it before discharging, and giving him back to me.

I took in my dog that was having epileptic seizures. I was there for over 3 hours and never saw a vet, nor was she given anything to relieve her seizure. The person I did see was extremely uncaring when giving me the price information. Her attitude seemed to be that if I couldn’t pay a fortune on my dog they weren’t going to help her.
