Would absolutely NOT recommend. While the 4 men who did the move were very nice, they were ill prepared for the job. The owner did come to my house to do the initial estimate, but he did not provide the crew with enough blankets or shrink wrap. The equipment was old and in poor condition, and unfortunately, the movers hands were very dirty and left our furniture and the walls in our new construction home dirty. Additionally, there was a lot of damage to our antiques. We got to the new home, and before they would unload, the owner called and told us we had to pay a large amount of the estimate When we spoke to the owner before we paid the balance, he said he pays 60cents per pound for damages and never asked me if I wanted insurance when he did the bid. All in all, we were very unhappy with this company.

Love them!!!
I found a bunch of free furniture on Facebook Marketplace but the person giving them away wanted them picked up same-day. Not only was Safe-To-Go-Movers able to arrange same-day pickup and delivery, but they were willing to make extra stops to clear out our storage unit and take our unwanted large items to the dump for us, too.
The movers who did the job were super patient, flexible, and professional despite the various hiccups and delays (none their fault) that arose. They were also willing to stay quite late (10pm!!!) to get everything done and they handled all our items with care, which is such a refreshing change of pace compared to our experiences with other local moving companies.
My husband and I are both autistic and have ADHD so sometimes we are difficult for service people to work with but these movers were so patient with us and never made us feel like an annoying imposition on them despite our disorganization and multiple changes to the plan as the move progressed.
We will definitely be using them for all future local moves -- the main reason I'm writing this review right now is so that I can always find the same company again by checking my Google Maps reviews history.
Highly recommend!!!
P.S. I notice that they currently only have an average 3.5 stars due to a run of bad reviews from last year. I assume they must have fired those employees and hired new ones because our experience was nothing like what any of the bad reviews mentioned. So, be sure to make your decision whether to hire them based on the ratings from the recent reviews and not the overall average.

Perfect experience from my driver, Peter, who brought some large items from California up to Washington for me. Price was fair, my stuff was moved carefully, and the customer service was incredible. Always calling Peter up in the future šÆ

These guys are amazing. I bought a home and my home workout machine was delivered to my old home by FedEx, I was panicking to find a movers. When I contacted Safe to go Movers LLC, they agreed to pick it up first thing in the morning and drove it 30 miles to my new home. Very good prices and their guys are very respectful, professional, and punctual. They charged me half of what I expected therefore saving me money, time, and stress. I will use them again.

Over $3500 damage, $1800 move that took 2 days (for a 2bedroom), no safety, concern or care from the movers to the owners!
First the guys showed up late, high and with no masks. After they walked the property, they let me know that the owner did not tell them anything about also including storage in the move. They documented time of arrival and departure incorrectly-I was charged an extra hour for bad arrival/departure time, an extra 40 minute lunch and breaks in between.
Then they had me sign a document where I had to decide if I wanted to pay $300-$500 extra to have the move insured despite the advertisement stating that they are licensed and insured.
The movers were extremely unfriendly, high the whole time, and just seemed to be plain disgusted by the fact that they were even there. The whole time I listen to things in rooms being dropped, shattered, drug- sounds that made me call my insurance company bc I had lost all hope less then 30 mins into the move.
I had explained to them that I had just had a transplant and that I could not lift anything and that they would need to disassemble and reassemble the two beds and also that I could NOT get Covid. Despite that fact they failed to truly disassemble or reassemble anything properly. They piled boxes when I wasnāt present in a room, despite being overly labeled- which meant Iād have to carry and move them later. They only wore masks the first couple of minutes after arriving. There was zero concern for safety.
They were so slow that in the eight hours I paid them they didnāt even move a two bedroom apartment and I had to pay them to come back the next day. To move our two bedroom took them more than 14hours and 2days. And it was all prepacked!
So far we have found well over $3500 worth of damage to both personal property and to the previous home and the new home. We have multiple beds that are ruined a $900 medical recliner ruined. Broken furniture was tossed over the back fence in the backyard the only reason I found out about it was because the new neighbors notified me- that was a great introduction to the neighbors.
The only two pieces of furniture that they had to disassemble and reassemble were a queen bed and my child loft bed. The queen bed they didnāt actually take the frame apart they just moved it in one piece which made it very loose and cause gouges all over the walls coming up the stairs.
The part of the move that most disgusts me, despite all of the damage done, was that I found a bag with 18 screws left from my young childās loft bed. The bag was purposely hidden in hope that I wouldnāt find it. Not sure what the thought process was there but it definitely was not for the safety of my child.
The advertisement says that there reputation is everything, but have done nothing to make this right despite my patience and me giving the owner the space and time to do the right and contracted things.
Iāve sent 9+ emails to the owner, James, with pictures and proof of the damage done by his movers. I have also called James close to 10 times, he stopped answering his cell phone for my number, he would only answer his office and he continually said he was busy and heād get back to me but he never did.
They refuse to even pay the basic $.60 per pound of damage at this point so I have no choice other than to first let the public know this is NOT your moving company! Find another! Second, I have filed a claim with my insurance company who will be contacting āsafeā to go movers, and third Iām going to have to bring them to small claims.

Not impressed. They showed up an hour late and damaged 4-5 pieces of furniture. They destroyed my daughter's dresser as well. The staff was friendly but they were not experienced. They used my tape to try and keep drawers from opening on furniture - even though they had a huge roll of cellophane that they never used all day. I wouldn't hire them if you're a single female either.

I had such a wonderful experience. They were on time with a huge box truck, very reasonably priced, the helpers were polite and professional. They were also efficient. I would hire them again

ā ļøHorrible! Do not book them! Save your self! They never showed up! I had planned two sets of elevators an buildings for this move but they did not even bother to show up. I booked them a month in advance and they took a job earlier on the day that went over so they did not make it to my booking! Although I have called them many times in advance to confirm and double check the time and hour with them (even that day from 9am). We had to get a uhual and store our furniture in over night and get overly expensive movers for the next day! Horrible horrible experience! Needless to say that we had to move all of our stuff to uhual on our own and almost broke my hand! Horrible management and team! Avoid!

*I had a lot of old and rare furniture that was severely scratched up by these movers! They did not protect it in the truck.
*When we tried to call about it, we could not get anyone to return our calls. I had to call from a different number to get them to pick up.
*The owner laughed at me when I asked for a refund and offered to pay me $0.60 a pound for the damaged items instead.
*The mover who dropped my jewelry box down the stairs was a proselytizing preacher and the others had to keep reminding him to help out instead of talking. We did not appreciate the time or place he chose to share his message.

The movers were on time and they were nice, but they werenāt professional movers at all.
Even though I said our condo had to be empty, they kept wanting to close up the truck and leave. I had to keep on them to be sure to get everything that was to be moved.
When they were unloading, they scratched the floor in 4 places with the sofa. The movers acknowledged they did it & we should talk to James, the owner. I called James the day of the move and the next day. He had some story that we moved the sofa after his movers put in place which is a blatant lie and he knows itās a lie.
The movers also scratched & marred some furniture. Even though boxes were clearly marked for their destination inside the house or garage, they didnāt move about half to the correct place. Now we have to drag things in from the garage. The young guys moving things do this gig for extra money on the weekend which is fine, but then train your employees properly. I too will file a complaint with BBB.
As another reviewer noted, James also insisted paying with Zelle or Cash app. Wouldnāt take a debit card which is also like cash.
Iām very disappointed in the service rendered as well as the lack of transparency and honesty in dealing with damage done by movers.
