“For the last 3 1/2 years, MKK has been my daughter's home away from home. Every single day she wakes up wanting to go to school. Every single day she learns something new she needs to tell me about. She plays hard, she explores her feelings, she has never had a single problem. Unfortunately she is moving on to kindergarten this year, and I can only hope she never has the fire of learning put out that MKK has nurtured. Every single interaction I have had with the staff has been positive, I can not say enough good things.”

“I cannot say enough good things about what they do since I’ve been in the program. They have completely set us up for success. Jazmine has worked so hard. I had a new company buy out the previous one in the middle of going through the program to for eviction prevention and she worked and made sure everything was set up for me that there was no problems with the transition on my end. I feel like these people do not get enough recognition, but the program that they’re involved with is a blessing. Just thank you so much for everything you have sent me and my daughters up that we do not have to worry moving forward. It is above and beyond what ever expectation is out there”

“My son has been in this daycare from 1 to his current age which is 2 1/2 . In this short period of time my son has learned how to count to 10, work on his colors, has a high social development skill, and has also learned how to share and has compassion for others. And is in the process of potty training. The teachers are absolutely amazing and the kids adore them. They have an amazing communication with not only the kids but also the parents. I love this daycare and hearing all the fun things that happen everyday when I pick my son up. Im so greatful for all the work these lady's do and appreciate every single one of them !”

“Hello, my name is (Id rather not let the schools know). I went to Browns point Elementary K-5 and loved it there. I made lots of friends that are still here today and enjoyed actually going to school. But that was just back then. Im now in 7th grade and my sister goes there at the moment. The amount of fun i had there dropped from a 10 to a 0. When I went there, we had plenty of things, such as, Dance a Thon, Costume Party on Halloween, Camp Seymour. Now all of that is just trash or gone. Dance a thon went from an hour and a half, to 30 minutes. Camp Seymour I heared is now taken away, Costume Party gone, etc.If I were there now, I'd Rally a protest to bring everything back. Also another sad thing (not sure if its fully gone), was rope climbing. Our PE teacher used to teach us how to rope climb incase of any emergancy situation. Now thats gone.My teachers were amazing. I wont tell all of their names but I would like to mention one in particular. Mrs.Walter, she was the nicest teacher I have ever had but she sadly quit her job. She was kind, caring, and just someone I would never forget.Until the school learns to even fun and Dissapointment, this school is just a painting.It gets so good that you mess up.I will be rating this 4 star only because that is what I would rate it back then. At the moment it is a 2 star.”

“I almost got shot up attending this school this school 6 years ago, there was a man in front of the entrance threatening to come in with a gun, fortunately he went away and never got into the school. At the time the whole school was in a lockdown and the situation was handled in a calm fashion that the school should be acknowledged for. The kids at my experience here when younger in 2nd grade were pretty well behaved, in the morning it's very packed in the lunchroom and almost no where to sit at least when I attended 6 years ago. Overall my experience at the school was joyful.”

“They have cared for my two grandsons for the past two years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The staff is absolutely amazing—professional, qualified, and genuinely caring. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming, creating a safe and positive environment for the children. Each learning room is thoughtfully designed to keep the kids engaged, curious, and excited to learn every day. One of my grandsons was nonverbal when he first started, and by the time he left, he was talking! That alone speaks volumes about the love, patience, and dedication of the teachers and staff. Both of my grandsons have grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically thanks to their time here. I highly recommend Tacoma Daycare and Preschool to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality childcare experience where every child is truly seen, supported, and celebrated!”

Now at 26 months, he is thriving and we couldn't be more grateful! The consistency of care as he's grown has been remarkable. He's moved through several classrooms as he hit new milestones, and every transition has been seamless, each teacher warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in him. He comes home learning new words and skills regularly, and we've watched him hit development milestones with confidence. The center is secure, clean, and well-supervised, and his teachers communicate proactively about his day and progress. The director, Ms. Terria, is the heart of it all, welcoming, knowledgeable, easy to reach, and clearly devoted to the students, staff, and families. We couldn't recommend this place more highly to any family looking for a daycare/preschool center they can truly trust.”

“My son started going to daycare here when he was 10 months old after changing him daycares three different times before I FINALLY found kreative kidz in Lakewood. My son is now almost 3 and will attend this daycare until he goes to school. Ms.Mary is absolutely amazing, so sweet, very communicative and always makes sure I am notified if anything happens. The staff at kreative kidz are so amazing, every single one of them always welcome my son with a smile and he always leaves with a smile and is happy as ever! I absolutely love kreative kidz they all remind me of a big family , wouldn’t take my son anywhere else after finding them! Huge shoutout to Ms.Blanca & Ms.Raquel as well, they make me feel at peace dropping my son off everyday knowing he will be well taken care of.”

“First school I went to from 91-94. Had Mrs. Jordan in Kindergarten, Mrs. Perkins in 1st and Ms. Cesario in 2nd. Was there for about a month of 3rd grade before moving but forget the name of the teacher. Some of my favorite school memories happened at Downing.”

The faculty and staff are incredibly supportive, the academics are at the highest level, and we love the school community. My kids love going to school and that is the highest praise of all.”

“I love this center and all the staff! I had 3 kids under 5 there at one time! I always felt communicated with and my kids are always happy! It’s hard to find people to trust your babies and I know they were in good hands always! I brought them here because the last center we used, had illness after illness. They clean regularly and every Friday they deep clean. It helps a lot!”

“My 21 year old son went here when he was 3 years old until about 9, as well as my teenage son. My younger kids go there now. The director and owner are amazing I’ve known them for over 18 years. Everyone there is like a family. There are special parties for the kids, they get ice cream parties and pizza parties, huge Easter egg hunts, have the animal petting zoo come visit. They are affiliated with the peirce county library and have a librarian come every Friday to do a special circle time. I wouldn’t have my kids anywhere else!!”
