Poorly managed. A few examples - They don't answer their phone. Then last year I'd made an appt online for a Covid shot that supposedly they stocked, only to show up to find it wasn't. Had to make a new appointment at different location. Another time, received automated message saying a prescription was ready. Arrived less than an hour later. There were no other customers before or after me. Cashier couldn't find prescription after a 5 minute search. Then at 1:30 on the dot, he said that my prescription had been "put away" & if I was "still around" at 2:00, I could get it. The entire pharmacy closed for lunch. No staggered schedule to remain open for people to collect obviously needed medication. Nowhere online, or in the auto message did it say that the entire staff would be gone. Online there is a graph stating the least busy hours, with no lunchtime blocked out. So a supposedly good open time fell within the lunch period. When I arrived, it was at least a full 5 minutes before they closed. There was a sign on the counter about the lunch break but unhelpful at that point. I left & had to go back the next day. Yet another wasted trip. Inconsiderate since it wasn't my fault they're so disorganized. This pharmacy is badly run, with little regard for customer service. Riteaid has lost my future business.

Poor service all around from pharmacy. They billed wrong for a med and blamed insurance. Insurance says another thing so I try and call RiteAid back and they will not answer the phones. Get put on hold for hours with nobody actually picking up. Oh, and they actually had the balls to say "there's one in front of you" before putting me on hold for 2 hours before giving up! I've had enough of them. They've been terrible for months now. I'll be going somewhere else after getting this taken care of.

Typical Rite Aid pharmacy. Service is poor. Advertisement about being drug dump site. Then you show up and they tell you it's full. So sorry Haven't been to a Rite Aid yet that is actually helpful to customers. Wonder how they stay open

The pharmacy staff are hands down the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. Not only the pharmacy assistants, but the two pharmacists are both very disrespectful to not only my wife and I but my mother in law and anyone else who has tried to pick up prescriptions for us when we were not able to get them ourselves. Something as simple as a refill is ruined by their mission to make it as difficult as possible. I'm an amputee (I lost my leg in a horrific car accident at 33)I also suffer with severe depression and I am treated like a homeless drug addict. I can't even describe in words how rude these people are. We are finally in the process of transferring all our prescriptions to a better pharmacy. Do not use Rite Aid on 40th & Bridgeport. You will regret it.

I went to Rite Aid to buy some electric tooth brush refills. I could not believe it, they had NONE there. What kind of a drug store is this. I went to Walgreens and they had just what I wanted. Yes this store is close to me but I will go elsewhere. As large as this store is they do not have important things that they should have.

My husband is a Cancer patient and his Cardiologist changed 5 of his medications because of his Chemo Therapy affecting his heart. Drs office sent to Express scripts rather than Rite Aid. I called Express Scripts they agreed to transfer to Rite Aid but they needed Pharmacist to call to transfer. Male in Rite Aid said Pharmacist in giving shot but will do after. Said to wait Approx. An hour. We waited in the car. Came back in and said they hadn't called and too late now. Called them next day and said couldn't until Monday. Ridiculous poor uncaring service.

Very snowy day showed up a little early for covid vaccine to an empty store and was told that there were appointments before me so I'd have to wait. I guessing that no one showed up. These pharmacists really think they are Gods gift when their job could be done by a vending machine. I guess you have to be pharmacy VIP according to another reviewer to not be treated as "less than".

Health hazard, unfriendly and unhelpful! I was surprised to find a lack of available hand sanitizers & wipes for customers to use while shopping, however was even more disappointed by the response received when I asked a simple question. There were 4 clerks standing behind the counter chatting and no other customers, so I asked where I could find kitchen counter cleaner, assuming one would respond. The only one who did respond asked if I had "checked the shelf", to which I replied I had, but I was if I was checking the correct area. She angrily replied, 'you'll have to ask someone else, I'm not on the clock for another 2 minutes!" I then repeated the question to the clerk standing next to her, who asked me again if I had "checked the shelf". I repeated "yes", to which she said, "then we're out I guess". Being physically disabled and unable to walk the store again, I then asked if I one could confirm the aisle number for the product, to which one clerk replied, "I'm not sure". Had there been customers, I would understand the abruptness and unwillingness to assist, but I almost left my entire cart there to shop at Walgreens, instead. This was just unprofessional and poor customer "service" and I am cancelling my RA Rewards Card today!

This Rite Aid is a public health hazard. With the cold season and coronavirus going around, this place has to be the most reckless and careless store. They only have a single cashier in the front. What's worse is this young gentlemen cashier was coughing up a storm and only decided to cover his cough with his jacket after I looked at him surprised. As the only cashier there, he has to greet people, handle cash, scan products, and customer interactions. All of which without any safety precautions. He didn't use hand sanitizer when he rung a customer up after his cough and continued to scan her products then handed it to her and her receipt with his germ-filled hands. Also, no one at this store seems to pick up their phone. The store manager seems to be sending calls to voicemail.

On 04/18/2019 around 530/6pm, I came to pick up my child's prescription like I do every month. I was with my 2 children 12 and 6. Kids wanted some candy so we picked the candy and proceeded to check out. I was helped by a cashier by the name of Jeremy. When we approached we were not greeted in the most polite while. It seemed as if we were bothering him. My children then placed their candy on the counter. The gentleman rang us up, and told me the total. He then held the candy in his hand rather than bag it or put it back on the counter. He continued to look at me as he held the candy as if he was holding it hostage until I paid. This made me very uncomfortable and upset. Upon my transaction being complete he then handed me the candy after seeing "approved". I happily stated Thank you and have a nice evening. He replied with yep! As I was walking out I spoke to Bree, the supervisor that was working at the time, and told her about my experience. She did tell me that she would speak with him in regards to his actions. I however did not fell as if the matter was going to be taken seriously. Fast forward to this morning 04/19/2019. I called the store to see if I could obtain contact information for the district manager. I spoke with Michael whom stated that he was the supervisor for the morning. I asked for the name of the district manager. He told me her name was Jennifer. I then asked if I could have her contact information. He proceeded to tell me that he did not have her information and would not give out her contact phone number. In all this, I just wanted to bring awareness to the company and how they treat there customers. I am an African American woman, and do not pull the race card. However in this situation there is no other reason as to why I was treated this way. I hope that this matter does not fall in deaf ears, and is handled appropriately.
