We dined there today and food and atmosphere was fabulous ? Never had fried chicken eggs Benedict and it was the best!!! Their pastries are also delicious ? it was nice and relaxing. There is a trail outside of the property and it was nice walk also. Highly recommend! Just one note would be - they charge you 20% tips automatically for the Restaurant bills but still asks for additional tip line in the receipt so you may want to pay attention. :)

Amazing lunch (and awesome left overs for dinner). Excellent service, quaint yester-year décor, a delightful new find.

We did not stay, but the food was great, we did breakfast menu but they had a big menu for lunch and dinner. Food presented well and was full of flavor, way worth it.

Be care full and make sure you use the account you are going to pay out of because they have a no return policy and unlike all the other hotels out there they will take your money long before you ever stay . As far as I am concerned they are thief's. This is a new policy and the management team didn't know about they sent my wife to Trisha and said she would get us are money back but we then were told they have a no refund policy. Just be careful they will steal your money before services are ever rendered and it does not matter if its a day out or a year out our reservations were over a month out and that was not the account that was going to pay for the stay. Just think they do not care about you what so ever.

You seriously need to come here! The food is fantastic. The place has such a great vibe, I love the atmosphere and decor. It’s a place with so much history and charm it’s infectious. Great place to stay overnight so I hear (I only visited for the day). I recommend trying the biscuit! My grandmother had her 100th birthday party here a few months ago and it was such an unforgettable experience and they were such great hosts. Once again, I highly recommend a trip out here, it is worth the visit.

The meat was horrible the “wagyu “ was all fat and tasted like pot roast ,the grits tasted like uncooked rice , the restaurant was cozy and the server a young boy was helpful and kind.. There was well behaved dogs roaming all around the restaurant and dog toys under tables. Friendly dogs but not at all sanitary and they were begging . The people are kind but all the other factors made our experience disappointing

Very small rooms. Only one hook to hang wet coats or towels on. Shared baths roomy and nice. Nice antique furnishings, a slow down and relax vibe. We had a dog room, had to step over her to get in or out of room. Would have been better experience without our dog and in dry weather.Food & drinks: Food is amazing, locally sourced and fresh.

The food was really good and the staff were really friendly, however management is incredibly rude and mistreats their staff and last time I went in some of the cups on the table were dirty and had lipstick stains.Beautiful scenery though and the baked goods are to die for!

This place is a CRAZY riot of antique tchotchkes, ghosts (sadly, we didn’t see any ?), fun fellow guests, dogs, cats (who love to cuddle in your bed if you leave your room door cracked open), and — most importantly: extremely tasty and inventive food.Service is top shelf. Alecia is fantastic. She always just magically appeared whenever we needed anything. Seriously. It didn’t matter if we were checking in, ordering food in their fantastic restaurant, or looking for ice. It didn’t matter. Other staff are also fantastic (Dylan, we’re looking at you).Helpful hint: some bathroom showers are much, much better than others. Test them out!Highly recommend.

THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!!!! I went here for a family reunion, and we stayed here. It was soooooo dreamy. The staff are great, and the farm is cool. Gus the Bus is one of the nicest dogs I have ever met. And the cats. They were so cute. Not to mention that the hotel was built in 1885, so you have to be ok with the thin walls and shared bathrooms. I think it makes it charming. The haunted rooms in this hotel are 4 and 7. I HIGHLY recommend booking those rooms for your stay. I love the designs they painted on the walls. The restaurant is AMAZING,and it has the best biscuits and gravy I have ever tasted. If you are coming with more than 1 child, you may need to book the adjoining rooms, #8 and 9. Gus is a big yellow lab that snores on the couch at night. He is ADORABLE, and he was one of the highlights of our trip. They have chickens, ducks, peacocks, goats, and pigs on the farm, and cats that roam the property. Sometimes the cats come into your room and sleep with you, and that is really cute. It is a great place for a wedding, and you can rent out the whole building if you like. Most of the rooms are pet friendly, so don't hesitate to bring your furry friend. Over all, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!! YOU HAVE TO BOOK A TRIP HERE!!!!!!
