We've used him before and like him & the service. This time Brian found the strange humming noise, which wasn't in the engine at all, but was a bulge inside the tire. He didn't even charge us for his time, and we got our tires replaced before that bulge could burst and cause problems, not to mention a veering vehicle at high speed!

Brian's Transmission & Auto Repair is a small, one-man, three bay operation in Toledo, Washington. Brian is self-employed, and greets the town-folk by name. I recently had to take my car in because the rear, passenger-side window would not close. Brian took the car in that evening, even though all bays were already full. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and determined that the window needed a new regulator and set about trying to find one. His normal supply sources had the part for $300 to $350, but Brian thought that it was too much for the part. He then spent over an hour trying to locate the part for a better price. He could have ordered the part - I had given him carte blanche to do what was needed, but instead, he decided to put forth an extra effort. He located the part for $80 from a non-typical supplier. Since it would take some time for the part to arrive, her rigged the window to stay in the up position until it was ready. Brian refused to accept any money for the temporary repair. Once the part arrived, he had it installed the very next day. The total cost of the repair was $164. I am grateful for Brian, for it is rare today to find someone who prizes integrity higher than profit. He has earned my business, and my respect! If you need repair work, he will do the job right, and will give you the best deal possible.

A transmission light and check engine light came on when we were traveling through and he looked it over for us and cleared the codes and checked everything, giving us peace of mind. He got us back on the road. Very helpful!!

I broke down on I-5 and was towed to Brians after I called him and asked if he could get me in. Within 30 minutes I was done, a new belt, and only $75 dollars out of pocket. Very honest- he could have dinged me for $100's and didnt.
