“Was a great hotel and casino! No smoking, no alcohol which made the place incredibly clean. Food selection was awesome, including the crab buffet!!! A/C in the room wasn't the best. Set the temp to 60 and it never got below 69, even with it being 50 outside that evening.
Side note: the hotel website was charging $250/night. Using a third-party site, got a double-queen room for $100. Had to use a third-party site as the hotel website doesn't let you book same day.”

“This hotel was great. The bed was comfortable, the pillow didn't give me a headache, and the ladies in the kitchen were very friendly, kind and gracious. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We accidentally ended up staying at this place with my boyfriend—we hadn’t planned it at all. As soon as we arrived, we had trouble figuring out the check-in, so we called the reception. The owners, Pam and Doug, a lovely couple, came right over to help us, even though we just wanted to understand how things worked. They were incredibly welcoming and kind. They showed us around the units, and we stayed in Columbia Gorge, which was on the right side with a front view on the lake, the closest to the bbq area. Everything was so well-organized. Right next to the unit, there’s a view of a pond where a large bass swims, and you can fish for it—they even have ducks, plus all the gear you need. There are kayaks and boats, too, so you can paddle around. In the middle of the pond, there’s a small island with turtles basking, day and night. We fished, we barbecued, and we woke up to such a beautiful view. The place is super clean and carefully arranged. There’s a cooler with water outside, which is a big plus since usually rooms don’t have that. Bikes are available, too. Honestly, everything was done with so much care and heart. I can’t recommend it enough!”

“I give this hotel a 5 because they were extremely gracious and professional. For a freeway motel, it deserves a 5.

There are some negatives. One of the issues were the thin walls. Our first room was an adjoining room, and I swear I could hear every word the people were saying. I didn't hear them in the evening, so that was a good thing. I'd say the other negative is the parking. The place is PACKED with cars, and many of the cars were parked over the line.

Breakfast is great! The lady making the made-to-order egg dishes was the hero of the breakfast. I heard many people tell her how good her eggs and burritos were. There were biscuits, gravy, yogurt, bagels, cream cheese, waffles, bananas, and lots of other items. Definitely a great bonus. The dining area gets super crowded, but it wasn't a problem for us.

I had an issue with an overwhelming smell of perfume in our room, even my husband (who doesn't have a good sniffer) couldn't tolerate the smell. The management let us change the room for the second night, I was very impressed with how they took care of the situation. A big shout out to the cleaning staff, they work hard to keep things neat and tidy. Tip them!”
