My friend took me there for his birthday, a very nice place to visit . We went there to fish. I like it because it was not packed with people.Picnic area: They have picnic tables and benches to sit.

This is a wonderful little campground down on the Toutle River. We've been two years in a row and it never crowded. This year we booked two weeks before we went for the weekend with no issues. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has vault toilets and no showers.

Lovely small RV and tent park. Sites for RV with water and electric. Playgrounds for children. Shelter for family gatherings with BBQ facilities. If you want to make a reservation do it five days in advance. You can also FCFS.

Nice playground for toddlers and small children. Water along the river bank was shallow enough to splash in the day we were there.

Playground: My daughter loves both of the playgrounds here. One problem is there is a bees nest right at the top of one of the play structures but other then that great quiet place to bring your kids.Went back again and no bees nest!!

We wanted to stay one night in the RV at the beginning of October. Unfortunately it wasn't possible because reservations had to be made online 4 days in advance. No one could be reached by phone and we didn't see the camp host despite knocking on the door and honking (but he seemed to be there because there was music playing in the camper).
