“A little piece of heaven in Washington State…I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the years, many of which were very expensive, but I can honestly say that Trout Lake Valley Inn was my favorite of them all. I have told everyone that if I ever come up missing, don’t look for me, but I’ll be at the Trout Lake Valley Inn. The location was perfect for a jumping off spot to both Mount Adams and Mount Saint Helens. They had a spectacular little yard for relaxing in, complete with hammock, Adirondack chairs, and cornhole. It was perfect for sitting back and listening to the creek run past and the susurration of the wind through the trees. I wished I never had to leave. The rooms were immaculate and came with mints on the pillow and a rubber ducky on the tub. There was also an electric potbelly stove for those cold winter nights (which we didn’t use but was still awesome). There were chairs outside of every room which I used to read in. They let us borrow their bikes for free to take a short ride to the pizza joint down the street (which was also superb). They had a lovely continental breakfast in a cute little breakfast area. I loved that they had a collection of different coffee mugs and cups to use instead of disposable. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable with everything in the area. They had a wealth of information for planning day trips as well. I know I’m missing things, but take my word for it. This inn is a piece of heaven and if you are planning a stay in the area, Trout Lake Valley Inn is the place to go. Be sure to look at the photos I uploaded to see everything!”

“I lived in this house in the 90’s. There used to be a huge deck over the river. My brothers and I would spend all summer swimming in the river pools. Used to be called “Twin Oaks””

“This was our third stay at Trout Lake Cozy cabins and it’s slowly become our holiday tradition. We love our stay here - the cabins are comfortable, with all the necessary conveniences (we have stayed in the Sweet Dreams cabin twice now), and the location is perfect to go hike in the snow near Mt Adams. It’s a quiet place and very different from the other mountain attractions like Mt Hood. We look forward to being back!”
