I took my fur baby in and after they gave my fur baby I seen in her head a red bruise on her head. Long story short I was denied the service from this location after I spoke on her bruise mark. Not happy after paying for an exam and not being able to have them perform her surgery. Horrible

I chose this place for my pets veterinary care. The first time we came to our appointment I was explaining everything and was offered a bunch of things. I was asked if I wanted to sign up for autopay monthly that instead of paying every time I come in those monthly payments would go towards those visits. My pet wasn’t seen for about three months and now they are harassing me, emailing me and calling me that I owe such balance. The first email I received was a different balance and now apparently I’m receiving calls from a collect company saying I owe a much higher balance. Last time I spoke to someone at this location I explained about my pet not being seen for about about three months and if I would get a refund for those months my pets wasn’t seen her response was yes, I should be. Well, I have been lied to and apparently I owe them instead. I will never come back here and they will not receive a payment from me.

All the staff were so sweet to my Titan in the midst of him being so cranky. Thank you for your kindness and gentleness

Absolutely appalled at the mindlessness and negligence at this location. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS TO THIS LOCATION. If I could give -10 stars I would! We have been Banfield patients for years since we have 4 dogs. The service at the Tukwila location has always been mediocre, but being the closest location to home, we went here often. We pay a hefty monthly membership fee which entails vaccines and making sure our pups were up to date with their preventative care. One of our dogs recently passed away due to leptospirosis, a DEADLY infection that Banfield was supposed to vaccinate him against. We had an appointment for this vaccine to be given along with the other core 4 vaccines given to dogs in WA state, so we believed and trusted that they did their job. After our pet's death and upon further investigation, this location 'forgot' to give him a NECESSARY vaccine that they told us they gave him. We were never informed that it wasn't given, and due to this negligence, our sweet pup tragically died. I am pursuing legal action and want to warn others to just make the drive to a different Banfield location. We have had 100% better experiences at both Renton and Des Moines locations, but Tukwila really needs to get it together. If you love your pets, make sure to double check their work and don't trust this location!!!!

Astounded that they have a gratuity line after dog was at clinic for 8 hours for an annual exam. Whats going on in the universe?

This place has been great for regular preventative care and simple surgeries like spays, neuter, dental work. The staff has changed over the 7 years I’ve been going there but there are familiar faces still when we go in every six months. Staff has always been friendly and gentle/caring. They offer some additional services like nails, dental, anal glands, special diets, but it’s never been pressure sales tactics, which I appreciate.Edit January 2024: still agree with my original review. Adding a shoutout to the excellent customer service I received from Dasia (or Deja or similar, sorry for the spelling). She researched a complex question about the testing I had, dug into the paperwork, called the outside lab, etc and got back to me and walked me through what she learned. I appreciate her taking the time, effort, and care to help me out.

I’m sure I speak for many pet owners when I say our fur babies are everything to us. This vet is not knowledgeable about felines. The exam room had plastic pieces on the floor super dangerous to cats. The veterinarian was cold and clueless. Treated my cat like an inanimate ragdoll that could be tossed around. I was warned about this place but enough decent reviews swayed my decision. Lesson learned. Do not bring your fur babies here for care. They will receive anything but.

They were able to get my cats in for some illnesses that they are having. We are still in the process of figuring out what is causing them to get sick - and having this vet chain where we can call and go in to get them checked and cared for has been very helpful.God bless!

Great doctor! Very knowledgeable. Prices are very high and the sales pressure to buy insurance has moved me to another vet.

I had scheduled an 830 appointment for my cat I was the first person there to drop him off and they saw 8 other people who came in after I did, before they got to me and made me wait almost an hour just to drop him off. They said they would call for pick up which they never did so I end up calling them an hour before closing to see what was up and they said that he would be ready at 5:45 for pick up so I go at 5:45. He’s not ready it takes nearly 45 minutes just to get him from the back and for them to tell me that they didn’t do anything bc he was anxious so he sat in his crate for nearly 10 hours THEY NEVER CALLED ME. He went in for bloody stool, puking, and peeing outside his litter box. I pay ~75$ for the wellness plan specifically so they could sedate him bc I know he can be anxious they didn’t call for that either. I also consented for sedation at drop off. Why was I not allowed to pick him up until 5:45 15 minutes before closing and wait 45 minutes if they didn’t do anything!!

Online I scheduled for a 9 am appointment but got a later confirmation text that it was for 7 am. I called to correct my appointment assuming I had made a mistake and was able to get it back to the originally scheduled time. Day of I brought my cat for the drop off appointment and was told then that I'd be fit between appointments and that they'd call me between 12 and 1 with a pick up time. I waited, but didn't receive a call from them. I called them after 1 pm to check up on my cat only to be told that the appointment already happened and I was asked when I'd pick him up. I said I'd be down there in 10 minutes and when I got there I had to wait 30 more minutes for him to be brought from the back. I was also told afterwards that he was too anxious to get his nail trimmed which was fine because I will just figure out something else for that. I just struggled with the lack of communication because it made me worry something had happened that made it so they didnt call me. That and I didn't love having to put my cat through a stressful time at the vet when I would have been fine if they told me that they could not see him at 9 am and would be able to instead see him at a later time.

THIS WAS UNBELIEVABLE.The front desk nurse had no sense of privacy or tact. All they do is push unneeded shots and procedures. If any one is reading this, get a second opinion. We will never come back. If I could give lower I would.
