I certainly do not recommend Bassett Furniture in Southcenter. Jake helped me order a sectional, bed, pillows and duvet. Over $8000 total. Waited 6 months for delivery and when items arrived the sectional looked like something from Goodwill. Nothing like the model that was on display at the store. I had three different phone calls with Bassett and each time they said I needed more stuffing. They sent a third party out to stuff cushions, at one point they had me come to the store and filled my SUV with stuffing and said go home and stuff the cushions. No matter how much stuffing you put into a bag it does not come out a square cushion. Customer service is non existent, they have my money and clearly states on receipt **No Refunds or Exchanges on Special Order Items** -- how about the customer who is paying the money -- do we have any rights?

My husband and I were looking for a couch that would last us a very long time. Our kids have gotten older and can respect our furniture more so we were willing to spend a pretty penny on a new one. Looked at a few different retailers and ended up going with Basset based on the fact you could customize it. Unfortunately the designer we had, that even came to our home and took his own measurements didn't order it correctly. We weren't too upset about that except the owner wouldn't make it write. We had to pay for a new piece ourselves even thought it was their mistake and had to sacrifice what we really wanted in the end. Would never recommend anyone to buy this expensive of furniture from a company that won't make their mistake right.

Claim to be amazing products and best service but yet they don’t stand by their claims company…. I have been trying to get my leather couch fixed for over 9 months. I will NEVER buy Bassett again

For the past 9 months…..oh you read that correctly 9…NINE…MONTHS…. My wife and I have been trying to get the back cushions of our couch sewed back on as they have come away from the back of the couch. During this time we have had them and their “3rd party” contractors state they would be able to help and nothing. Wednesday 5/17/2023….so obviously very recently…a technician was supposed to come out and never showed. They decided not to contact any email or number associated with my wife, the one working with them to get this resolved, and instead cancelled the appointment. Today we just came home to this. Something that NEVER would have happened if the leather cushion covers were properly sewed back on. I guess the insurance on the couch doesn’t mean anything and they would rather wait customers out to simply buy a new one from somewhere else.If you are someone that may perhaps run into an issue I definitely wouldn’t buy from here. They WILL NOT help you and their 3rd party partners are TERRIBLE.Lost a family of customers for LIFE!-1000 stars for their customer satisfaction and care

Great customer service and selection. Dee was very helpful and patient with me as I made my decision on bedroom furniture. He was knowledgeable and did a great job sharing details about the furniture we were interested in purchasing. He gave us space as we looked around the store, but was always available when we needed him. Can’t wait to get our new bedroom set. Thanks for your help, Dee.

I purchased a couch in May, received it in Aug/Sept and the fabric pills like crazy. When I called they told me to buy a sweater shaver - Didn’t expect to have to shave my coach weekly! Called 3 more times and keep being told someone would call me back. . . And nothing! Very disappointed!

Our salesman was Dee and he was excellent! He is very knowledgeable about Bassett products as well as with design themes in general. We appreciated all his input and guidance and felt that his concerns were centered on helping us not selling us.

Dee was extremely helpful without pressuring the sale. The store is set up to make shopping for furniture easy and not overwhelming. Good quality furniture, lots of options, reasonable prices. We will shop at Bassett again.

If I could give a -10, I would. Save your money and purchase better quality furniture from Costco, and for a lot less money. At least Costco stands behind their products. My Bassett furniture arrived damaged in December, 2020. I was promised repeatedly that the furniture would be repaired or replaced. They keep putting me off. My expensive Benchmade chest of drawers was dropped twice to the floor in front of me, with parts flying off. My Benchmade nightstand arrived with a damp, sticky, apparently rain damaged surface- the drawers do not open and close properly. A dropped side table for the living room. A damaged leather couch. Torn leather on another couch that the repair tech painted over and called it done. This is not even all of the problems. The repair tech sent by Bassett advised me that most people only keep their furniture for 5-10 years anyway, so it didn't matter. I have been told repeatedly by the Bassett managers at the Tukwila location that they would replace the damaged and/or improperly manufactured furniture. That was 7 months ago. No contact from Bassett that is not initiated by me. Repeated promises to take care of the problems. Today the manager advised me that he will consult with the service department on Monday about ordering some parts. When I asked about the promised replacement of the damaged furniture, he repeated that he would talk to the service department about ordering some replacement parts. Uh? How about delivering the new, undamaged furniture that I ordered, and was promised to me? I have never written a bad review in my life, but I feel that I must warn others. I wish I could put zero stars. I purchased a bedroom set, a coffee table and a nook table from Basset in January 2021. It is now June and I still don’t have the side rail and footboard to my bed. My situation was a little unique because I bought in WA but wanted to have it shipped to TX. Every single store that we went to that didn’t support this type of transaction told us so. Basset wanted the sale so they told us that they could use a transportation company to shop from their manufacturing location to TX. That was the worse mistake I have ever made. I have spent over $11k with this furniture and six months later I still don’t have it. It was supposed to be sent to us first week of April but week after week we kept getting told that there is a delay. At first it was because some items were manufactured and some where not. Every week I would call and every week I was told a different date. Eventually we got the items but to our surprise the item that delay the whole thing being shipped was not delivered to us. It has been soooo hard working with them and the only person that seems to care and know what is going on is Breah. Even when I talked to the manager he said I had to wait to her to come back from vacation and that he didn’t know the status of things. Every time I check they blame the delivery company. Basset I gave YOU $11k, not this delivery company. If you can’t do out of state deliveries don’t tell your customers you can just to make a sale. I will never do business with this company again.
