Car toys is a disaster that always have to fix their mistakes and still they don't get correct. I brought my box truck in back on July 2023 to have a stero, alarm system, and backup camera put in and tinted windows ( which was never done even though they had my box truck in there 3 times). Not only did the tech electric tape all the connections together, he also routed the wiring incorrectly costing me thousands of dollars in repairs to RWC which confirmed that Car Toys routed the wiring incorrectly. I have made several attempts to get Car Toys to reduce the wiring harness but instead the just disconnected the alarm system. I request several times for a full refund on the services but all they refund was the tinted window charged because it never got done. Every single person that was there that day had something wrong with their steroids system requiring Car Toys to reduce what they should of dome correct the first time. Will never go back to any Car Toys location again for any service. I also walked in there bills and all l, talked to the manager and yet nothing was corrected. I don't even want to give a 1 star rating due to poor service, poor customer service, and negligence on their part.

I was greated by a sales rep named Mike. He helped me to select a security system for my car. Answered all my questions and was very helpful. It was a good experience. I recommend this store.

They tinted my windows on my truck. That night some low life broke into my truck making me have to replace the window. I went back expecting that cause it's a business they will say sorry that happen but still charge full price. When I got in and told them what happen. The tech said "that sucks." Then said to redo the window will be only one hour of labor. Then knocked a decent price off my alarm/dash cam system. Today they are installing the tint, dash cam and alarm system. (4/10/2024). I'll update after I receive my vehicle back.

Really friendly, efficient service. I don’t write reviews normally but I had probably the worst customer experience of my life at the Bellevue Car Toys, and I was really worried it would be the same here. It was not at all. They were super kind and changed my opinion of Car Toys in general ?

The service was great, timely and efficient. The employees were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. All of my concerns were answered. I’m very please with the outcome of the service that was performed on my car. A special thanks to the technician who did the work on my car. I will recommend all my friends and family to bring their vehicles to Car Toys.

Wanted to get a new head unit for our car. I asked the sales rep for a model that had an easy mute button. I was offered a number of units that had an attenuate feature but no mute feature that I could see. The sales rep assured me that the attenuate feature could easily be changed to mute during installation. More than $700 later I ask them to show me how to mute it. They tried a few things and then explained that it will lower the volume but not actually mute the audio... that mute is not a feature of the unit...You cannot trust what they say - only trust what you see. Also the installation was crooked in the dash and there were wires poking out around the cabin that were not tucked in well enough.

James in sales is kind, caring, helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even found a remote we needed on sale. Because his job is so busy he had to multi task between several different customers. As we waited he kept checking on us. Always so pleasant. I hope management appreciates the gem they have in him. Also Car Toys has Alberto who is an install genius. It was Alberto’s day off and He was helping out so I could get my alarm installed that day. Alberto took time to explain how to use it. He worked hard on it. Car Toys hires wonderful people. I am especially thankful to James and Alberto. I am confident if anything goes wrong later with my alarm they installed, csr toys will start behind it.

This year, I finally decided to pull the trigger on a remote start system. After some research, I decided to go with the compustar pro T13. They happened to have it on sale! Got me in the same day and was told around 3-4 hours for install. It was done in 2! Bonus points for being in such a convenient location to burn time with the mall being very close by. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional.

Stopped in to buy an alarm at about 12 o’clock. And told them I did not want to buy it unless it could be installed today. Left the truck with them at 12:30 to get it installed. Gave them a call about seven to see when it would be done. They asked if they could keep it overnight. I told them no. The truck was ready about 8:30. I decided to run through the options to make sure that everything worked right. When I would do my remote start, my starter would stay engaged for about eight seconds. But when I would start it regular with the key, it would not do it. I went back in to tell them about it. And felt as though they did not really care. The installer knew that it was doing this. But did not let me know. When I asked him about it, he told me that it was because my car is carbureted. Which has nothing to do with the starter and it’s not, it’s fuel injected. I will be dropping the truck back off next Saturday and see what happens from there.

My wife and I had a great experience with the team at the Southcenter Car Toys. She recently purchased a vehicle that did not have remote start and so we wanted to figure that out because we don't have a garage to keep the car in. The sales person asked the important questions and then presented The options in a very simple and easy to understand manner. We scheduled the job, Drop the car off for installation the next da but we're pleasantly surprised to get the call back a couple hours later saying the vehicle was ready to go that night. These guys are great and they know what they're doing!

I could've received a requested receipt from an install via email instead of being forced to come in. My truck was totaled and need an emailed receipt to claim for settlement, they cannot take a picture. Also I live 50 miles away from the store just to come in to get a copy.EVERY other retailer (5 separate) i've used was able to send me a receipt via email without any issues. I have been a pretty regular Car Toys customer for years. NO LONGER!

I HIGHLY recommend this particular location. I was not treated like a "girl" when I interacted with Alex or Darren. Alex let me bug him with hundreds of questions and didn't act as if I were inconveniencing him by doing so. Darren communicated regularly with me while rewiring my audio and explained to me what was going on with some various issues I was dealing with. They quoted me 1-4 hours and I fully expected to have the process drawn out as long as possible for the max payment however Darren was done in an hour, maybe even a little less because we chatted about my concerns for a while. I was so shocked he was that quick because when I had taken my car to The geek squad at the Tacoma Mall at Best buy I walked away with my amp still not connected after 4 hours paying like almost $300 and got nothing for it. I used to swear by geek squad but honestly will never use them again car toys will be my go-to. and if at all possible it'll be this one when Darren and Alex are working because they were incredible to deal with and very helpful. It's employees like the two of them that will keep your customers coming back again and again and recommending them to their friends ??
