It's a little on the small side store - and it's not very well stocked. In my opinion the best Claire's store is the newer one in Bellevue ; )

Two workers were very unfriendly and did not give my sister any after care instructions after piercing her ears for the first time, then proceeded to give us nasty stares as we were leaving. We even tried saying have a good day but they didn’t respond and just looked at us badly.

Mayfree was not very helpful at all. i went into the store to do a return on some fake nails i bought for my kids. One set would not stick and kept falling off and the second pair was way too small for my daughter and we did not use the nails or even opened the glue and only because box was a bit broken she refused to do the returnThe kids nails are NOT good. They fall off easily. Not good product. i won’t be going back!

We visited Claire's on our trip to Southcenter. I inquired about ear piercings. The person there did not look up from the binder she was working on and was generally unhelpful. I asked about cost and she told me 30-300 dollars. Her disinterest stopped me from asking further. When we went to check out, one item didn't have a price tag and the person working acted like it was a big inconvenience. I try my best to treat all service workers with respect and dignity, as I am one too, but this person's lack of decency ensures we won't be coming back.

Extremely overpriced... $33 for a headband that the glue is showing and coming off...? Yeah .... no thanks. Even buy 3 get 3 is such a scam.

I took my son and daughter to get their ears pierced and the girl who was working REFUSED to let me get stainless steel. PUSHING REAL HARD for the gold/white gold posts. I told her 3 times I wanted that and she LEGITIMATELY REFUSES TO PIERCE MY CHILDREN'S EARS! WHAT KIND OF BULL IS THIS?!

Whatever lady works here that's bleach blonde and was wearing a black shirt today is BEYOND rude. Wouldn't even look at me while I spoke. Rolled her eyes too. Like? What was the reason to be so rude lady. Seriously!

i hate the free piercings. i would hate it if you had it priced, too. children that cant even walk are forced by their parents to get pierced ears. including that its free piercing, it always happens. everytime i walk in or shop there, the baby will be crying within seconds. they are a few months old by looks, and etc, but when they cry, and really loud too, it is so sad, and i cannot even shop happily. or in peace, for that matter. i hate this place because of that. everytime i see it, it reminds of this. its not even funny anymore. the poor children have to get pierced, yes, its the parents, and they chose to. but, if its free and a childrens store, there will be a lot more people with children going to pierce.

the other day when my friend and i stopped by claires to look around, she was putting items in her bag to eventually take to the counter to pay for. i recognize that this would look suspicious, but the way she was treated following this could only be described as racial profiling. she hadn't stepped out of the store at any point, but two employees brought two security guards over, and made my friend get on the floor in the middle of the store and empty her entire bag and sort through everything until she had "proven" that she didn't have any more merchandise in her bag. the entire time the employee kept saying extremely rude things to her, such as "did you steal all of that too? probably" or calling her a "good girl" in an extremely condescending tone. the security guards took two driver's licenses we had in our bag that we found at a bus stop prior. we were planning on stopping by a mail box and dropping them off, but they felt they had the right to take them. after this, the claires worker made us show receipts for an entirely different store to prove we had paid for items at spencer's. it was completely uncorrelated to what was currently happening, and security brought in the cashier from spencer's to attest to checking out the items we had bought earlier. the entire time, the claire's employee was using vulgar language, saying things like "do i give a s**t" or "i have s**t to do", and being very unprofessional. i was able to leave the store to use the restroom, but my friend had to stay in the store, and was observed by security when she paid for the merchandise she was planning on paying for regardless. the employee demanded she keep my friend's receipt as well despite watching her pay for the items, even though my friend asked several times for it back. we both realized that putting items in our bag was suspicious and not the correct thing to do, but the treatment following this was completely unprincipled. i don't recommend going into this store, unless you're prepared to be swarmed by white employees and white security guards for putting things in your bag.
