Worst hobby store ever least enthusiastic hobby Enthusiast to ever run a store for people who want to be into the hobbies. Seriously, this is easily the worst hobby store ever. Because none of the employees want to be there. I went in to purchase an r c car and left.Not wanting to buy an r c At all period I didn't even want to buy it online.I just didn't give a shit anymore after I went to this store. And had the worst help i've ever had at any store

Buy online with better return policy and good customer service.
1. Bought an rc boat for my son that worked very poorly and ran for just a few min at a time before dying. Took it back and was told that they will not refund because there is no defect and they will ONLY refund defected items.
They determined “no defect” based on being able to turn it on at the store and run for a few seconds.
2. Incredibly rude. After telling Dave the store manager that I need to return this item because it does not work as intended or in it’s intended environment, he told no refund and do you want to “throw fists?”. What? I have never been asked if I want to have a physical fight over a return of a defective item.
Avoid this place, buy from places that stand by their products and don’t offer to fight you.
Dave the store manager, I left a review as you suggested and no, i have no desire to fight you.

Go elsewhere if you want decent customer service. Bought a gift for my son which turned out to be defective. Tried returning but they dont stand by the products they sell and therefore wont take it back. All I got was - “not our problem” response. Steer clear!

I have a large scale Walkera Helicopter that recently developed an electrical issue. However, when I tried to troubleshoot the problem, I ended up with two possible causes but was unable to prove which it was, as when one component was removed from the system, the issue disappeared, but the same thing happened when the other component was removed from the system. I researched vendors in my area and I liked the sound of Hobby Town the best, as they seemed to have more models in stock than most others and a greater on hand selection of parts as well! My intent was to see if they had both parts in stock and to price them. When I got there, I was immediately approached by a salesman who was extremely friendly and helpful and who spent a considerable time with me and had much technical expirience. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I was so impressed with his enthusiasm that I decided to return in a week and purchase another Helicopter from him! I spent about an hour with this man and I learned a great deal from him. I had a really enjoyable and informative time there and as soon as I got home, I employed a couple of his suggestions and was able to solve my Helicopter problem post haste! And it works excellently! From the places I researched, I'm most impressed with Hobby Town! I would give them ten stars, if I could! I now consider Hobby Town to be my place to go to and depend on and I will recommend them to other hobbiests that I associate with, without hesitation!
