Ok so the older Caucasian man that once owned this branch said he would apply for my tax anticipation loan that day that I went in there. Why else would I enter all of my tax info into there system and allow him to raise my bill from 50 to over 500. I told him that I was behind on my car payment and needed the loan so my car wouldn't get repossessed. I never got the loan and I lost my car then a few months later I found out from customer service that he never even applied for the loan. So he basically stole 450 dollars from me. He did nothing but bill me. I did all of my own work. During that call with customer service I found out that my tax return was rejected because I had a date wrong. He never texted emailed or called me to let me know but he did lie and tell me that he called me several times and left messages. So it took me 3.5months to get my tax return. I barroed money from my oldest brother and because I didn't pay him back right away he no longer talks to me. I know that is my fault. Really all of it is my fault. I blindly trusted this man because I had such good experiences in the past with HRblock. I have only requested my 450 back because that man lied to me repeatedly and he didn't even do the work I did. I have requested my money from customer service three times and each time they said they would get back to me and they never have. I think I am going to get an attorney and sue him for everything I lost and everything he has made me suffer due to his lies. Know any good attorneys. Better yet I this I'll just take him to small claims court.

Over priced to get my taxes done. I signed up for spruce a way to get it faster a option by h and r block. It's been more than 21 days and I have not got my return. I'm forced to make phonecalls regarding my taxes on the concrete floor outside the place I got my taxes done . Been more than 30 minutes and my legs are numb. I'm ghosted by the associate helping me weeks of being ghosted . Now I'm paying for a service that I'm not using. You are nothing more than a number , you aren't treated like a customer. The hours walking it takes for me to get to and from my bus stop and bus fare spent it's a mental tax they don't tell you about and all of it could of been avoided if I went to Turbo Tax
493$ I pay to be treated like this and they will treat your grandma's and cousins ,everyone in the community do not go here for the sake of for them and your future the people deserve respect and fair prices

They filed my taxes completely wrong. They checked single even though my husband was sitting right next to me the entire time (even said I was married). Didn’t even bother to fix their mistakes. Your tax return will not be posted on your account online for future tax uses or for reference. Never coming back again. Truly horrible experience.

I should have listened to the reviews about Virgil do not come here he is extremely rude and will belittle you if you're younger I left the building crying the lady at the front desk is very nice she was extremely kind and answered my questions I would not recommend doing your taxes here

I would not recommend this H&R Block. If you do have to use this location, I would strongly advise against using Virgil Knedlik as your preparer. From my experience, Virgil will cancel your meetings on short notice (1 hour beforehand), is very hard to get a hold of, will file your return late (he had close to two weeks to complete my return), and incur a tax penalty on your behalf.The real kicker with Virgil though was that he offered to write a letter on my behalf to the IRS to have a late fee waived since he caused the return to be late and asked me for more time to prepare it, which in totality took less than 2 hours to complete. He tells me the IRS is more lenient if the preparer writes it. He states he'll get the letter done once he comes back from vacation. Well surprise, the abatement letter he spoke of in fact cost $99.I forgo the letter and ended up just calling the IRS on a 3 hour phone call and they waive the penalty without a latter.
