I have been with GESA for almost a year in Tukwila. Nothing but wonderful customer service. The staff is friendly. I am glad that I didn't pay attention to all the whiner's that left bad feedback or I would have missed out on great interest and better service.

I have been with GESA since 1993... I closed my account today because I have to drive about an hour to get to a nearby location.I used to have a branch within minutes in all directions before my credit union was bought out by GESA.GESA is still one of the best credit unions around. Unfortunately, I can no longer drive for an hour to do banking that is a nightmare online... my suggestions. Open more small branches or talking ATMs to better serve your customers...If you are close to a physical branch, go for it they are marvelous...But if you would like a bank closer to you.... they are not for you.

Amazing customer service. Amazing people. If you want to bank with people that care about you, come down to Tukwila GESA. Just the greatest experience. I have only been banking here since April 2023 and I feel like family.

GESA will lure you in with low interest rates and promises of easy payments etc but prepare to be totally screwed. The following are standard online banking services that GESA says they provide but I’ve yet to see: easy online banking, eStatement and notifications, clear due dates and fees, adequate customer service, friendly and helpful staff.

Save yourself a heart attack and just avoid Gesa credit union all together. Gesa credit union, never heard of them you say?! You're not missing much!! Been with them since they were Inspirus. they don't handle fraud well and won't let you dispute it after 60 days, they will lock you out of your online account for nearly six months. There's tons of penalties and fees that are hidden they don't tell you about! The customer service is most awful in person. They don't care, about you or your money!!! truly, honestly, any bank or credit union is better than Gesa. don't walk, run!!!!

just spoke this customer service name is Greg, really have an altitude over the phone and can't help me to pay my next bill without any additional charges of fees which due in 3 days as i explained the situation that i never received yet my bill statement by mail.i called diff. customer service numbers which she helped me the way i wanted with no fees.very bad service here locally and seems to me that they don't know what they doing.

I am writing as a member since I was a middle schooler and my mother took me to this credit union when it was called School Employees Credit Union to open my first ever account now your on your third name.I barely know your identity but remember how well your customer service was in the past. The present is 20 minute wait times I know that because I cleaned my kitchen and clean my living room while waiting listening to several long lovely jazz songs on your answering machine.I only started having strange issues when it became Gesa but I have overlooked them because my family has been apart of this branch for years however....I called this place today to ask why I haven't received paperwork from last Sunday that was said to be email to me now Wednesday. I am then told it wasn't approved well that could been told to me in...EMAIL (it's quick no wait times on both ends) but yet was told on the phone today that since it wasn't approved a email will be sent stating those facts.I checked my spam but nothing was sent the first email nor the last but... wait I see it.. it's a miracle! an email....Oh! for the appointmentI booked for the next credit union I am switching to.

OH MY GOD I HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!! I have banked here since it was School Employees Credit Union and it has just become worse and worse since then. Gesa is the absolute worst iteration of it. Save yourself so much annoyance and go to BECU instead- that’s what I’m going to do!

Abysmal website. It doesn't provide even the most basic transaction information. If you make a payment on your credit card, there is no way to check if the payment is pending. You just have to wait and wait and and hope it goes through. Very 1980s.

Got approved, loan finalized and still dig inside of your personal thing. Bad experience and stressful to deal with. Got it moved out from it. FYI: my credit score is over 800. Please stay away from them. They won't corporate with you to find a solution. Bad institution. ? never again. Got traumatized

I needed to get a signature guarantee in order to buy US govt bonds. Only banks do this for their customers but Gesa stopped offering this service. Unbelievable that they don’t offer this basic service to members. My only option is to open an account at another bank when I’ve been with this credit union for 30 years.

Cant make payments from app unless you add another bank acct…. They charge you to make a payment over the phone…..website payments only allow the exact amount of the loan…..you have to go in to make a higher payment…..customer service is a joke and they’re extremely unprepared for customer questions and concerns??♂️??♂️

I called in and asked A question about wire transfers, no charge one day the next day its $20. Horrible customer service and since GESA took over we have had a few accounting mistakes.
