I was looking around for a new dishwasher, and previous experience persuaded me to my another Bosch. This was my first experience buying a major appliance from a place that's not an appliance store. It will be my last. I paid for delivery and installation. When the dishwasher arrived, it had mismatched parts. White and black. So we knew that someone had previously opened the box for some reason. The installer proceeded anyway; promising to return when the matching part arrived at our house. A team arrived three weeks later without a clue. A few weeks after that, we finally got the right part. It was then that my wife informed me that the programmable functionality wasn't working right. I gave her some time to work through that before calling Lowes to tell them that we have a defective machine. It took more than an hour on two separate days to get through to people; one passing me to another. This all resulted in Lowes telling me NOT TO CALL LOWES. I was instructed to try to call Bosch. No matter how hard I tried, the people at Lowes refused to try to help, and refused to contact the manufacturer for me. On my third day of phone calls, I reached a very cooperative person at Bosch who has been helping me fix the problem. Never again will I trust Lowes withan appliance purchase.

Always friendly and helpful! Most of the associates know items well and can tell you where they are located. They understand diy projects without too much explanations and will set aside items if you call ahead and verify items listed/needed!

This is a shout-out to Desiree at the return desk at Lowe's Tukwila. I had just been thru a nightmare with Home Depot trying to get dishwasher I'd paid for delivered to my house. Nothing but run around and not keeping their word to contact me when they said they would. I went to Lowe's Tukwila and had an excellent experience. First of all, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I went to inquire at the returns desk how to purchase the dishwasher I wanted. Desiree found they had quite a few in stock and on sale@ $500 less than H.D. In about 10 minutes time, I had what I wanted and in less than 2 weeks the appliance was delivered and installed. I'm quite sure the delivery/installation would have been much faster but I bought it 2 days after Christmas. I have 2 suggestions for anyone reading this review - #1 try not to make a major purchase around the Christmas/New year time of year. If you do, have patience! #2 shop Lowe's. Terrible customer service. Bought a no contact voltage tester from Lowes, showed the line i was workin with had no power, proceeded to cut it, got shocked so hard it burnt my shirt. Went to take it back while in Tukwila, and ran into problem after problem with the employees here. First, massive line at customer service with two contractors waiting to get an air compressor tank replaced, talked to the fellas and they'd been there for a hour waiting on the employees to bring up the replacement. Strike one. Next, while waiting in said line, an employee walked THROUGH the line, and offered to help me out at the regular registers (odd but whatever). I pointed out the two guys ahead of me that had been waiting longer and she replied with "well I'm not even clocked in yet". Then why the hell you offering to help anyone if your not clocked in? Strike two. Finally i made it up to the customer service desk, handed the young girl at the register the receipt and asked to return it. She types in the number on the receipt and proceed to say "you cant, everything already been returned". Strike three. How the hell was anything returned when I stills had the original receipt, and the rest of the items on that slip were already installed on the project house?! She just looked at me like i had six heads before asking for the card it was bought with. Magically there the ticket was and i could return the crap tester. After finally getting my refund, i tried to find the insulation aisle and that was no where to be seen. Absolute shit store. Ill go to Tacoma instead. Least they know what they're doing.

After multiple trips to the store, emails and phone calls I ended up being shafted big time by Kobalt and Lowes. Do not be fooled about their warranty of any kind, they will do anything and everything to screw you out of not replacing your items. The strategy is to confuse and wear you down, by wasting your time and money by driving back and forth to the sore. Even their corporate office is in on it.

I bought a washer/dryer combo because online they said that could deliver the next day.. when I went to the store I was told that I had to wait 7 days and they would call the night before to verify the delivery/installation date. They never called me the night before and all they could tell me at the store was that it was on the way. 5hrs later at 1pm they called and said they be arriving at 2pm... at 4pm I called the delivery number and they didnt answer so I called again and left a message , then at 5pm I called the store in Tukwila and they didnt know why it didnt show up and now the earliest I could get it would be 5 days from now. I dont have the time to deal with people who can't follow through or at least say ,, Sorry, we will be there tomorrow.. so I canceled the order.. Avoid these people! They don't deserve even one star . .. ELB DDS

I have 1 item to return and seriously have been standing in line for 20 plus minutes while all the other employees just stood there and look! Only 1 poor lady working customer service! Nobody acknowledged or let me know what is going on!

was at tukwilla lowes this morning. Could I find a cart to load out some pvc pipe? Absolutely not. The carts were throughout the store loaded with product, damaged merchandise, and who knows what. Not a one available. Luckily I had some rope in truck and used it to tie pvc pipe to the top of a basket shopping cart. Cashier says the fella ahead of me, not so lucky as his pipe just kept rolling off. Hey Lowes, how about letting the carts be used for customers instead of inventory, etc. Poor management of rolling stock.

Never order an item on lowes.com for delivery from this store. They marked my order as delivered even though I was waiting all day and they never showed. I called the 1800 number for Lowes and all they could do was "escalate to the store" who in turn never responded and just kept sending notices that the order was delivered when it wasn't. There was no refund or resolution or even contact from the local store and it took hours of time and filing a credit card fraud claim to be reimbursed. First and last attempt to buy anything from lowes.com

"D" Deborah in the Live Nursery sections is AMAZING! I use to shop at the Renton and Issaquah Lowes for my plants but I will now only come here to get my plants from D. The plant department is stunning and I had a hard time choosing which plant to take home I was so excited! Came in for one plant and left with five!

Went to self checkout and I was asked to check out with an associate. Wouldn't have made sense, as someone was already in line and I would have had to walk out of self checkout to then wait to be checked out. I asked if I could just do self check out and then the clerk proceeded to take the items out of my hand and check them out for me. I have a feeling why but won't say. Whole experience made me really uncomfortable and weird.

I have seen some improvements at this Tukwila store. The last two times I was there I got fantastic help in the hardware section and in the paint section. The two young guys that were rude to me in the paint section are either no longer there or I was just lucky to miss their shifts. The addition of the self check out section has helped the flow at the registers and I noticed that checkers appear when a line forms. The manager of this store is improving things at this location. The lady with the multi-colored hair that runs the register in the garden area is very professional, helpful and a pleasure to encounter!

Just moved to the area and have been here several times working on several projects. Staff always seems helpful, and cashiers seem friendly, returns have worked out well
