We went to the homegoods section to buy a new mattress. We were there maybe 15 minutes sitting on the mattress discussing options and a sales associate comes by and tells us to leave since we can’t “just sit there” and need to buy something if we were going to be there. We tried to tell her we were trying to buy a mattress and she wouldn’t hear it and made us leave. We’ll just be taking our money somewhere else. You’d think a store like Macys would want all the business they could get but I guess not.

What I could observe about this and all the stores in that place, is that they no longer have as many people as they did years ago.It was early like 3 pm and there weren't many people. I also observed several closed stores. They should do something so that these places do not become extinct.And continue to be places of great recreationHow they were years ago. It makes me sad ??

This Macys is always our go to for perfume and cologne. The employees are so helpful and courteous and they help you make those tough decisions .

I tried ordering some cologne online and it turned out to be $175. Macy's canceled my order twice and there was a mistake on their behalf. The first time it got canceled. I asked them to re-order it so they did not having return my money the first time, so then I got charged twice close to $350 so I called again and they tried running my card to order a third time without returning me. The first two payments in my card ended up declining and today is a holiday banks are closed, so I ended up with no money, and no cologne and all they're offering is 25% off. I am honestly very frustrated.

For a department store, this place is an absolute ZOO! It's a mess! Clothes literally everywhere! There are no associates available for assistance, no clear fitting rooms, and the fitting room we were directed to is an absolute disaster! We were looking for nicer shopping experience than a Ross or a Marshall's, but I believe those stores are actually better! At least they do a better job of maintaining their stores, and racks! This is sad and unacceptable. I don't think we will be back.

Lots of variety for shoppers, but my review loses three stars for the customer service. Male cashier on the 4th floor (Level 3?) earlier today gave no direction for the transaction process and seemed aloof. This was my first time shopping at Macy's, and I was feeling anxious. He looked at me (next and only customer in line) and said nothing, so I awkwardly asked if he was available; he half-heartedly replied "Yeah." Approached, set down my items, was not directly addressed or acknowledged for the rest of the transaction while he was talking with a co-worker by his side. Received a bag I did not need (I'm used to asking customers if they would like one), but I'm a pushover and didn't want to tell him "no thank you" after it felt like I was already being a nuisance by being there. I had to ask if we were done. Another empty "Yeah" and I was out. While I absolutely understand how exhausting and draining customer service can be (as a retail worker myself), being dismissive towards customers is a huge "no" from how I've been trained. As mentioned earlier, this was my first time at Macy's. Would not—will not—recommend anyone to this store if every purchase feels like I'm a huge bother to the workers. Not asking for a red carpet or a huge smile, but I am asking that you try not to be cold towards customers. And to that cashier: I hope life treats you warmly.

Wow.. Of course we've all been in a Macy's store at some point in our lives but....After these past 3 years of generally making most, if not all of my purchases online shopping at this Macy's store was like shopping for the first time.All the variety, colors, and shapes of everything was a treat to the senses.Interacting with the employees was a positive experience and it was nice to ask questions in person and the selection was incredibly diverse.
