I booked a windshield replacement, which was completed. My truck immediately demonstrated a massive amount of road noise, air was coming in through the windshield, and my wipers intermittent setting no longer worked. The cowling under the windshield was also not properly seated and appears damaged. Scheduled warranty service and no one arrives. I have to take the time to schedule it again. Tech #2 comes out, doesn't do much other than adjust the cowling. While leaving work that day water starts running down the inside of the windshield and dripping onto the steering wheel. Curiously, the road noise is better than it was it's still worse than before the repair. Scheduled repair #3, again a no show and no call. I'm frustrated beyond belief and would say to NOT use this company. I own my own business and understand the value of customer service, and this place doesn't seem to care.

My daughter took her vehicle in to have her rear window replaced. After replacement she noticed that there was a gap between the window seal and glass, where the seal would wold water. After speaking with me she took the her car back to Safelite (same day) to have them address this. They told her it was "cosmetic". Frustrated she took her car to the dealer (same day) and they found broken clips that holds the seal in place as well as broken clips on part of the hatch, that vibrated while driving. Spoke with the manager once and then he refused to take my calls or contact me back. Contacted Safelite to speak with a DM, they created a case and I am yet to hear back from anyone. Dads go with your daughters! Women be aware, the "mansplaining" is strong in this group!

Made an appointment gave them my car details that way I could just drop off my car and go. That did not happen. Even though they quoted us and had all our info for 2 weeks they said they couldn't had to handle our repair and had to send us to Bellevue. Complete waste of time. No compensation for my time or anything.

Plan to update the rating after all services are complete.Positives - folks at the office were very nice. The mobile service is convenient.Negatives - They weren’t able to complete the service at the house due to the windshield falling off when they tried to replace it. They used another windshield instead of our own old one and when they messed with the windshield wipers, the settings got so messed up that the wipers just keep thumping the hood instead of wiping the windshield at all. So we cannot safely drive in the rain. In the middle of a Washington winter where it rains nearly every day. When we tried to call the location about the issue at 4:30 pm, no one answered the phone, it kept routing to an automessage and then hanging up. Still trying to get in contact with ANYONE who can help with fixing the wipers at least prior to our windshield properly being fixed so we can at least see out the car.

Great customer service - this along with a clean and warm waiting area made the time between dropping off my vehicle for my appointment and it being finished less of a hassle. Bring snacks if you’re going to wait as they are a distance away from the Starbucks & Jack in the Box. Free WiFi & a clean bathroom.

I had held off a little bit too long in replacing my windshield due to availability and moneyI made an appointment for today, as we were taking a road trip starting tomorrow for the Thanksgiving holiday. I wanted to have a nice clean windshield that didn't have a crack in it for my road trip. I scheduled for this appointment at least a month in advance. Today while at the shop after waiting about an hour and a half I was told that there was a crack in the new windshield that was to be installed. As far as I'm concerned this is something that could totally have been avoided by checking the incoming merchandise before the day of an appointment. I have rescheduled my appointment a month out and I sure do hope the windshield gets replaced this next time. I also was not offered any compensation which I feel I should have been. Free wipers, something?!?! We will discuss that when I go in for my next appointment. I have had better luck with independent Glass installers to be honest but I wanted this one done by a professional outfit where insurance covered some of the cost ....I have my doubts now.

SafeLite Tukwila was recommended by a colleague and this recommendation was validated throughout my visit. Mick and Marco provided expertise, friendly customer service, and invariably accommodated my preferences. My car looks great again after the visit. Thank you for providing excellent service!

If I could give negative stars I would. I walked away from a routine windshield replacement needing my entire dashboard and A WHEEL to be replaced. I’ve been to other Safelite locations around the Seattle metro for the same service in the past and had no problems, but they damaged my car so badly that I am currently driving a rental. Absolutely unacceptable and negligent service. Stay away from this location.

This is the location to go to in the Seattle area. Another location took 5 appointments to still not complete a driver's side window replacement - along the way they also sliced the tube that goes around the window. The Tukwila location fixed it all - and their customer service was amazing. I've learned my lesson and will go straight here next time.

Didn't have the glass calibration specialist working so my repair took more than an hr past promised time to complete. The customer before me said she waited 4 hrs when I had been there for 2, ended up waiting 3+hrs total. Quality of work was the only good thing.

Safelite came to my home to replace two passenger windows, but did it with cheaper aftermarket glass, despite it being a vehicle less than a year old. The installer also damaged a trim piece while removing it. Immediatly after the install I had contacted my insurance company who said it was supposed to be OEM and they talked to Safelite to get the process on replacing it again. However, despite multiple follow-ups over a month and a half with customer service (many of which they never responded to) this was going nowhere until I spoke with the shop manager who finally ordered the OEM glass and trim piece, but provide no explainaion on why nothing was done previously. Then a week later, I get a voicmail saying they have to cancel my appoinment because they have to order it from the manufacuter (when that was supposed to be done last week). It's been two months now and hours on the phone and this is still not resolved.

Just had my cracked windshield replaced. Thankfully I purchase the PermaPlate warranty when I bought my vehicle so I spent $500 instead of $1,400. Got my vehicle in and done in their shop within 3 hours. Everything looks great and they were very professional!

I would avoid Safelite at all cost due to a shocking and frustrated experience with them recently. They came to repair a tiny chip rock on my windshield but somehow cracked it instead. They apologized but did NOT take responsibility to fix the damage at no charge and corp customer service offer no solution as well. This means I would have to pay for damage caused by Safelite work. DO NOT recommend at all especially for high end cars.

Great experience, and my first time using this company. They didn't have a mobile time that worked for me, so I drove to the shop. I need an entire new windshield, which they had ordered for me a week ago. The install and calibration took about two hours, and I waited onsite. It's a pretty no frills waiting room, but, hey... Who cares? All of the technicians were nice. Plus they vacuumed my car and cleaned the windows. Didn't expect that! Unsure the value of the rain protectant (which I initially didn't ask for but the person who took my initial order didn't remove; no biggie), but now I have it. Overall, a good experience, and I'd use them again.
