Picked up a truck and auto transport from them. Brought the truck home to start loading and saw that there was a nail in the tire of the tow. Had to wait 2 hours for roadside assistance to get there. Driving to colorado the steering wheel was VERY loose, had to drive 40 mph for 1400 miles and was a serious safety hazard. The truck was weaving through the lane the entire time. These people don't safety check their equipment before renting out and put our lives in danger. Tried contacting the GM Tristan and the DM Chris... no response. This location is understaffed and shouldn't be in the business of renting out vehicles especially for those who are driving cross country.

I would not recommend this UHaul location or their services to anyone after the bad experience we had. We were informed our UBox would be delayed for an unknown amount of time after our move-in date, and then once it arrived at the facility days after our move in, they had cancelled our home delivery and said it couldn't be rescheduled unless we waited a full 2 months later for a new drop-off date. We opted to rent their van instead and do self-pick up. On top of a round 2-hour drive to and from the facility, we had to wait 3 hours in the UHaul parking lot to get our box, as well as several families along with us. The entire location is severely understaffed. They only had two forklift drivers taking care of the largest facility in the state. I do not blame any of the employees for this awful experience, but the management behind them who are putting intense strain on both the customers and the company. Please do not use the services of this UHaul until they improve (though, if you're in the greater Seattle area, it's likely you'll have no choice). It will take significant changes for us to consider using UHaul ever again.

50 million dollar building and 1 guy working the docks for truckers, rental returns, and the guy who calls himself "the manager" is useless, just walks around yelling... 7 hour to load? Don't come here... talking to truckers and renters

First of all, shout out to Tari for being such a rockstar! She was dealing with a line of customers, hitching trailers, and handling herself like a boss!! Honestly though, shame on this place for leaving this young girl on her own! She was great under all the pressure, but she needs help!! Even with the hour wait and such, Tari made the experience great!

Made an online reservation and checked in and everything. Ended up waiting over an hour in line anyway. They didn't have a truck ready for another customer who reserved one. We had to find a van at another location because the movers were waiting on us. Won't be coming back here again!

We had a U-box shipped from out of state and it ended up being stored here. When the day came for our movers to pick it up, there was no one working. The movers spent 8 hours and 2 days waiting for someone to release the U-box so we could get our stuff. Very unprofessional. Very frustrating. They said "no one showed up to work" but we were told they were using day laborers instead of regular staff.

All of our belongings were ruined when we needed a place to store our furniture and household goods for one month in August. We thought we were renting a secure box. We hired movers through UHaul of Duwamish. The day our furniture was supposed to be delivered to our new home, instead we received a phone call from the movers that our storage was filled with rats and that there was feces all over our belongings. We are still dealing with the insurance which we purchased Tarim UHaul. Meanwhile, we are receiving threatening letters and bills demanding payment. Previously we were assured there wouldn't be any charges. It appears that we will need an attorney. Please don't make the mistake we made by trusting your belongings. We feel we experienced negligence. Pictures taken of the UHaul UBox clearly show where rats were able to chew their way in through the wood around the door. We thought we could trust UHaul but the UBOx our belongings were put in was not secures. We lost approximately $20,000 worth of goods including priceless family treasures.

I do not recommend this place. Some employees need training before dealing with customers. An employee made my reservation to another location since they didn't had what I was looking for and proceed to said my debit card was expired when it said it expires in the next 4years, And kept asking the manager how to make the reservation yeah I should've just walked away but since I've e never had any issues before I stayed and let him proceed with the reservation only for everything to be a total mess. Got charged a lot more because of employees who do not know how to do their job. This company is good for taking peoples money and charging all they can find only to refund the least amount possible.

It was definitely after hours and they were still there, cleaning and prepping trucks. It had been over 100 degrees yesterday and they were tired but seriously awesome-especially Dawn. I really want to thank her for going the extra "miles". This business is getting it right for sure-thanks for your help last night!!

I should've booked with them from the get go. Great service and straight forward. My rental was quick but as long as you communicate with them in regards to delays or going past your rental time they are understanding.

I would not recommend booking with them unless you have flexibility moving date. We booked a truck in advance and they called us two days before our move letting us know that they don't have a truck for us. Tried working with them to get two smaller trucks and they wouldn't do it. Wanted us to drive over 3 hours plus ferry ride expenses to get the truck we booked. All bookings should come with an asterisk that they do NOT grantee trucks even if you give them your credit card information. Booked with another company.

I would like to thank the two young gentleman once again who helped me with my reservation and visit at the location. Rico and Tamarek very patient, respectful, and polite it's rare to receive great genuine customer now days and I really appreciate them.
