I'm done with Ulta. Customer service has always been hit or miss. This time it was a miss at the Southcenter/Seattle location, I'll spend my hard-earned money elsewhere. Cashier was condescending, get better training in customer service. Bye, Ulta, will not miss you and your stores are dirty, new products are smeared with used makeup....ewww.

Went into this Ulta with a friend because she had some things she needed to return/exchange
We recently visited the store and encountered an issue with our transaction at the register. The cashier inquired about how my friend would like to receive her refund, and she opted for a merchandise credit on a card. However, upon completing the transaction, my friend noticed that the cashier had only provided one card, despite having two separate transactions. Instead of issuing the second transaction on the requested merchandise card, the cashier had inadvertently added it back to her credit card. We requested to speak with a manager, and Mair rudeness attended to us. Unfortunately, she failed to provide a solution, stating that nothing could be done since the refund had already been processed on the credit card. Mari isnāt a solution seeker, which will affect her management skills in near future she definitely needs more training when it comes to resolving customer solutions so We asked to speak with someone more senior and were introduced to Nikki, the general manager. We explained the situation again, and she listened attentively before apologizing for the inconvenience. Nikki provided a clear explanation and worked diligently to resolve the issue, ensuring that my friend left with a positive experience. As retail professionals ourselves, we understand the challenges of the job, but we also recognize the importance of providing excellent customer service. Nikki's exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills made a significant difference in our experience, and we appreciate her efforts in turning the situation around.
The store atmosphere was nice and clean.

They didnāt want to let me use my $10 off birthday gift coupon and literally pretended not to know what it was even when I showed the barcode and what it said on the app. Very awful, Iāve worked at an Ulta in NYC myself. I worked there for years and we always helped. Not like it comes from your paycheck. Very stupid, only one girl was actually nice and helpful.

Most employees here are fairly nice and knowledgeable. Itās very difficult to find help though, they seem perpetually understaffed. Today I mistook a representative for the brand Benefit as an employee, and while she followed me to the product I had questions for, she absolutely berated me the entire time. Interrupting, snapping, repeating the same question no matter how many time I told her I didnāt know the answer, which was why Iād asked for help (or asked if she could grab an employee of Ulta to help)
I understand in customer facing jobs itās frustrating to work with people with no product knowledge, but thatās part of retail. I do it every day. Theres no excuse for the absolutely vicious attitude she had. Snapping āwell I canāt help you thenā with an eye roll when I told her I didnāt know a product name- only the brand and appearance of the bottle. Another person came over and was absolutely pleasant and helped me just fine, suggesting a different brand, younger guy with dark hair, shoutout to him. Brand representatives should really have a clue how to interact with the public. Made me want to not come back just to avoid the demeaning attitude but I hate to shop at Amazon over brick and mortar stores.

Just done with Ulta as a whole, and this has been a long time coming. I came in at 6pm on the 10th and had an employee follow me around and ask me atleast 12 times in the 10 minutes I was there if I needed something. Why is it that even though I spent 6.5k in Ulta last year and 1.5k already this year, plus the fact that Iāve never stolen, never attempted to steal, never walked in the store with intention to steal, have always come with money, always buy things but NO MATTER WHAT at every single store they harass me like Iām casing the place. You would think being such a high spending customer I would be treated better and not like Iām not welcome in the store. Literally started shaking the 10th time she asked if I needed help because I was at my breaking point, and I just decided to drop my shit off at the front and leave so I could vent in a review and not in the middle of the store. If you notice you have less and less people coming in I would guarantee itās because of behavior like that from your employees. Also maybe teach them that not EVERYONE makes $18 an hour, some people can afford to shop there.

Extremely pathetic and unprofessional service. They don't know what are they doing. I paid $500 for hair keratin, permanent roots dye and for my sister's hair to highlight. They just ruined our hair and no change in hair it's the same as before keratin. Don't waist your money and time going to ulta salon especially the tukwila one.

Suppper busy when I visited on a Sunday afternoon with an incredibly long line. I didnāt end up getting anything because of that, which is unfortunate because the selection of brands was among the best Iāve seen at any location.
