“If you have been missing a positive experience with customer service for years like I have, you will want to look into services with Self-Help Federal Credit Union. It’s what a credit union is meant to be. Everyone, from upon my entry to my departure were welcoming and genuine. The tellers greeted me warmly and offered assistance immediately. They listened carefully and thoroughly shared next steps. The member service rep was awesome! I’m picky and skeptical by nature. In the end, I spoke to the manager and I can honestly say that this team is on par. They understand the financial system well and were great at supporting my needs. I’ve found a new financial institution where I’ll feel good about depositing my money into and enjoy getting to know the SHFCU family. Their setting is family friendly and there is plenty of parking. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!”

“Updated: Got a used car loan for a private sale and they didn't get the vehicle titled the vehicle for weeks (due to some crossed up address on the document), meaning it couldn't get registered to drive. This caused me to have to get temporary vehicle transportation tags for it multiples times, which was annoying and costly.
However, to their credit, they were happy to reimburse me for the costs incurred for the mistake after the fact, and that was a reasonable resolution. To be fair, this would not happy on a dealer sale, only private, and the underlying cause was not fully their fault.”
“Can I just say this branch (1st St in Yakima) always gives the most amazing and caring service ever! I’ve come to talk to a manger twice after getting not so great service at other branches concerning delicate situations and the managers at this branch are always so kind and understanding. Today i came in and the two ladies that assisted me (one was a manager) were patient, showed genuine care, and did what they could to help and talked me through any issues. It’s refreshing to see and experience this type of customer service! Thank you so much! This is what sets you apart from other credit unions!”
