MY HUMBLE ADVICE . DON'T PURCHASE A TREADMILL OR ANY GYM EQUPMENT FROM DICKS SPORTING GOODS STORE. I PURCHASED A TREADMILL ON 12/20/24. PAID THEM CLOSE TO $1000.00, WHICH THEY DEMANDED UP FRONT. THIS INCLUDES $80.00 FOR THE DELIVERY FEE AND $80.00 PAYS FOR THE SET UP FEE. DICKS GAVE ME A TELEPHONE NUMER TO SCHEDULE A DELIVERY DATE & SET UP DATE. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED ON 12/20/24. I WAS INFORMED THAT SOME ONE WOULD BE CALLING ME BACK FROM THE SCHEDULING DEPARTMENT TO MOVE FORWARD IN SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT. AS OF TODAY THAT WOULD BE 15 DAYS OF WAITING FOR A DELIVERY DATE AND SET UP DATE . THEY HAD NO IDEA OF WHEN I WOULD BE ABLE TO SET UP AN EXACT DATE. THIS COMPANY THAT DICKS SPORTING GOODS STORE UTILIZES FOR THEIR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT DELIVERY AND SET UP DATES ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, ORGANIZATION I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I AM 80 YEARS OLD . DICKS NEVER EVER ONCE INFORMED ME, THEIR CUSTOMER ,WHO JUST GAVE THEM $1000.00 AND THE SERVICE I WOULD RECEIVE FROM THEIR AIT DELIVERY SERVICE AND SET UP SERVICE LOCATED IN NEW JERSEY!! WHY DICK SPORTING GOOD STORE DONT YOU KEEP OUR YAKIMA BUSINESS LOCAL. WHY GO ALL THE WAY TO NEW JERSEY?? DICKS SPORTING GOODS STORE I WANT U TO BE INFORMED OF WHAT UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE YOU ARE DEALING WITH.
I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANY EQUIPMENT FROM YOU EVER AGAIN. I WILL INFORM ALL PEOPLE I KNOW OF THIS CRAZY UNPROFESSIONAL CRAP I WENT THROUGH TO RECEIVE MY TREADMILL. ALL IS PAID PLUS THE FEES. YET NO SERIVICE!! NOT EVEN A DAMN APPOINT , AS OF TODAY 15 DAMN DAYS!!!! TRUELY DICKS???? NEW JERSEY????
FOR GOD'S SAKE CREATE YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE AND SET UP DATES WITHIN YOUR OWN STORE OR AT LEAST FOR GOD'S SAKE WITHIN THE YAKIMA VALLEY!!!! DAH!!!

Dick's has a new high tech, streamlined system to try on shoes!
Step 1: scan the display shoe at a kiosk
Step 2: enter the size you want to try on
Step 3: wait for an associate to bring you the shoes
Step 4: continue waiting for several minutes
Step 5: watch several employees walk by, engaged in various other tasks completely unrelated to shoes, despite the store being nearly empty
Step 6: get bored and leave without spending any money
Futuristic!

They had a great selection of bikes, but they had no one available to help with the purchase of a bike. They couldn’t bring one one down. The only one that could was the bike technician. I was looking to purchase one for my grandson. The bike technician was only in throughout the week until 3:00. That didn’t work for my grandson that would be in school. the staff then said that Wal-Mart and Target had a good selection. I found a quality bike at Target. Why have a great inventory of bikes and no ability to sell them?

Went in today for one thing and left leaving charged twice. Outdated cash registers. I never know when I actually can use my $10 reward ever because the app is never accurate. Very terrible customer service. Very unhappy constantly with this location.

I ordered a pair of Air Force 1's online and they scammed me of what I wanted.. I ordered the white/teal Air Force 1s and they send me some random pair that look nothing like the ones I wanted.. I went to talk to an online agent to fix the issue and wanted to get the pair I specifically ordered, and they just told me to go to a local store and figure it out myself.. I was extremely disappointed and will never order online from dicks sporting goods again

My brother in law went to buy shoes for my nephews to Dick’s he was waiting for about 10 minutes and the associate did not acknowledge them at all,2 other customers got there after him and the associate greeted them right away he felt very discriminated by this associate ,his kids plays sports and always does his purchase there.very disappointing of this experience.spoked with assistant manager about the bad customer service.

Not a bad location, but as is the case with much of the business in Yakima... it needs better customer service. It's just lacking in an aspect of excellence that is present in the other locations on the west side of the state and Spokane.
