Customer service at this location isn't the best. Because of product placement in the pharmacy area I bought the wrong test strips for my blood glucose meter. The packages were identical in design and color. It wasn't until I got home, opened them, did I realize it was a different brand name. Honest mistake, since I gather that is what happened with the individual placing the wrong products next to each other in the first place. No one smiled at this location. It's like they all hate their jobs or something. Nothing came of the test strips situation. I couldn't exchange or get a refund since the package was opened. And the strips I need cost way to much. Also, I have work in the quick service industry for over 20 years. I have worked lunch and dinner rushes with less people than the pharmacy had. I was the only person in the lobby. We always had to have a smile on our face. Never able to bring our home life to work. So one would expect a little more warmth for people who are only coming there because they are sick and or not feeling well.

Your Pharmacy has been beyond helpful with a prescription that is impossible to get these days. I think he is the pharmacist a guy I would say mid 30s . I’m sorry I didn’t see his name but I can’t say enough about the help . When it’s been such an irritating process to find and get it’s so nice to have help when you need it. You don’t even know how much I appreciate it.

I have Insurance that covers my Rx. No co-pays. So Monday I went to pick up a refill on 2 different ones. I get to the d.u. window and the guy hands me bags. Several bags, and he is bagging more. I asked him many boxes he was giving me and he said it was 12 or 90 day supply. I told him I already had more than 12 boxes and that's when he informed me 2 different meds. Ok now he tells me 86 dolls and change. I was shocked. I said I don't have a copay. This wasn't going anywhere so I started shoving the bags back thru the window. Finally got it resolved after 4 days of this. What was the solution? I switched pharmacies. That was the only way to resolve it. If you are 65 and over, have UHC Dual Complete (Medicare and Medicaid) and they're charging you a co-pay you need to go somewhere else for your Rx. Not once did they offer a number to call. My agent was floored. He's been doing this for years. They even spoke with my insurance company. So bye RiteAid.

I placed a refill on Thursday, they said I could pick up after 11am the next day Friday.I waited until around 3 to give them plenty of time, went through drive thru and spent about 25 minutes to be told that they didn't have it in,and was told I could check back Jan 3rd,this is 5 days without my medicine.I decided to call Saturday just to see and was told that it was on order for Monday,so they hadn't even ordered my medicine, older woman is also Rude ,I think her name is Carolyn.Stay away from here!

The pharmacy department Robert L is very rude and non chalant about customer concerns….He told me I had to wait an hour after I told him I was working the prescription is not for me.The rite aid on mob hill much more pleasant and fast….Handed them the prescription and got out of there in 2 minutes unlike the rite aid on main DO NOT COME here…

Wow! The female clerk at Rite Aid on Wed., Nov. 23rd, was soooo kind and helpful to me when I was mixed up about dates of a special, I was so grateful to be treated with respect instead of disdain! She should get a raise!!

Let me set the stage: I need to fly overseas to Japan and need a COVID PCR or NAAT test no earlier than 72 hours before my flight, but I need the results before I board. "No problem," says the Rite Aid website. "We can do that for you at the pharmacy at Union Gap!"After scheduling my test within my window, I showed up at this pharmacy to learn that "We don't do those tests anymore, but the website keeps booking them. You might try Walgreens."I want to thank everyone at the Rite Aid in Union Gap for not having the intellectual curiosity or concern for their customers to figure out WHY their website might be giving false information. Thankfully, I took their employee's advice and went to their competitor. Walgreens was able to conduct the test and saved my return flight to Japan, which would have cost me hundreds of dollars to change. Take their advice and just go to Walgreens.

Rite aid. Last 2 times I tryed to fill my rx the pharmacist told me it was 1 day early. I went the next day and a new phrmast told me I was 1 day early. Again. So this month I went to turn my rx again. And the phrmast told me I was 1 day early. Now I have been filling my rx for 20 years. Now they are telling me that the date they put on my rx is not the rite date. This is bull.

Terrible pharmacy. Rude staff. I waited for a prescription for my wife and they said it would be ready in 90 minutes. Then after waiting they said they didn’t take my wife’s insurance. Go anyway but here
