Made an appointment to submit power of attorney papers which took 30-40 minutes. They copied and scanned all papers. Said everything looked good. Three weeks later I went in person to dispute a charge and the teller said I was not listed as POA and could not dispute charges to this account. Told me to call customer service. So I called and they could not discover evidence that I had submitted the POA. They said they would follow up in a week. If someone at the bank took my paperwork but didn't scan and upload like they said....what did they do with my POAs? This is a relatives bank not mine. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. Steer clear. Smells like fraud.

They were a fine bank so long as you didn't actually need them to do anything. If you do have an issue, then they fail miserably in nearly every conceivable aspect.

It is astonishing this bank is still in business. Customer service is so poor, not even Covid-19 excuses it. I was new in town and needed a bank. Key bank was of course very welcoming, set me up with a checking account, savings and credit card. Well the credit card never did work properly it was continually declined even though there was debt against the card. Stupid. That credit card insisted on my keeping a $500 balance in it and I could never manage to use it. The checking account was even more astonishing. $1 per check. The best/wprst part was when was about to move out of state, the bank could not closer my credit account. I had to call a number to authorise closing (bank would not do this (even though I was there in person) and they kept my money in the account for 30 days before releasing it to me. This was my own money. This is an old timey bank without any kind of progressive thinking or services. Unless you don't mind being unable to access your money and you don't mind a silly interest rate (like less than 1 %) hide your money in the garden and avoid like the plague

I came in to open a checking account and everyone here was so nice and helpful. The young woman who helped me was named Emily and she is really good at her job. I was very pleased and would tell anyone who wants a bank that makes you feel like you are more than a number and that the staff really puts you the customer first, at least consider this bank. I am very glad I did

Key Bank charges too much for ATM fees, averaging $20 - $30 per month. Also, when I open my account, I ended up with two accounts. I was told that one was for checking and the other was for savings. Just another scam to make her sales numbers look good. I would have given this branch a 5 star because the tellers were always very nice, but because of the deceitful employee who signed me up, I gave it a 2 star instead.

I had no intention of writing an online review originally because I know how that can affect someone's business, but after finding out today Usha (branch manager) opened up a checking account in my name without my permission has pushed me to write my review. Originally I applied for a HELOC with key bank, and Usha as my contact. I own 3 businesses and have rental properties so when I apply for loans a lot of explanation is needed for underwriting. The customer service regarding communication by Usha was very poor. My emails were not responded to in a timely manner, I had to send multiple follow up, call the branch ect. Originally I started the process with her back on 11/14/16 and after my 1/23/17 & 1/31/17 email wasn't responded to I gave up. Since then I went to Wells Fargo and went through their entire application process (which they have an online login to upload all your docs and track your loan status) and have already been approved. This was completed in a manner of 2 weeks vs. Usha's 3 months. Then today I find out by receiving a statement in the mail that Usha opened up a checking account in my name during the application process without my permission. I don't receive mail at my house because our locking mail boxes have been broken into before on the street, so I have 100% of my mail go to my office. She used the mailing address that could put my identity in jeopardy as well because these were sitting in that mailbox for months because I had no idea to expect them. Very disappointed with my service received from Usha and Key Bank. I have accounts at US Bank, Wells Fargo, and BECU, and I was trying to build a new relationship with Key Bank - never again.

Laura is the BEST! How often can a guy (alright -- an OLD guy) walk into a bank and the branch manager walks around her desk to welcome him with a warm greeting? From what I can tell, the tellers treat each customer like old friends, too. If you want a bank that really cares about you and your business accounts (mine are minimal, by the way), check out the UP Key Bank .... ask for Laura P!
