Traveled 2 hours to go to this store. Employees are rude, cut in front of you and push there way around the store, if you want anything in lock up good luck, the person at the counter sits on the computer and ignores people.

I used to love coming here but the last few times I’ve noticed that the prices are sky rocketing. For a company that receives all of the items for free, it’s ridiculous to charge $15 for a well worn dress from shein. Frankly ruins the accessibility of shopping secondhand.

They make their own prices up on how it looks and of their are price tags still on themThere is no pricing chart or anything today $1 tomorrow it’ll be $10The employees look miserable.

honestly i loved this place but.. in the last two months their prices have pretty much doubled and there selection isnt good enough for that. i assume they hired new people since the employees are in charge of pricing the items but sad to see the last good priced store is getting priced out.

NO dressing rooms, and if the clothes don't fit, NO refunds. You can only exchange them for other clothes you're not allowed to try on. What kind of business model is that?!

I have bought some great items here but the clothes I like are usually too much but occasionally I find clothes at a discount with a coupon. I hate to say this but some of the staff are really rude and unprofessional. I had to talk to the manager a few times about this bad behavior. Since I had complained about them they accused me of stealing as their only recourse to get back at me. The staff started following me around like I was going to steal something. I would never steal from anyone or any store. I have donated and spent a lot of money there and to be disrespected is shameful.

So yesterday I went in and purchased an Apple Watch out of the case for 14.99 That was my first purchased, and then I purchased a few other things after. I explained to the manager that if the watch is connected to another account, then I would be locked out of it and would not be able to use to watch. She did that told her I was willing to take that risk. I charge the watch up, indeed had an account on it. Medical ID and It had the previous owners name in it and date of birth. I searched the person on Google through record and it had their cell phone number on it I called them and inform them that I purchased from Village and that if they intended on donating that for someone to use, then they would have to go to Find My and remove the Watch from their account. They informed me that the watch was indeed reported stolen. I called the manager and explained the situation to her, and she said that I can bring it in and exchange it for in-store credit. She kept her word And did the exchange. I also informed the owner of the watch that I dropped it off at the value Village so they can retrieve it from them. Not giving a star review for that but merely because I was kind of rude treatment when I am a customer that comes in quite often and I was being treated as if I was trying to still or get over on there when that clearly wasn’t the case. My main concern and reason for Giving a one star Review is due to the employee that rang me up was very sarcastic and rude to me and he made a comment after handing me my exchange receipt that I hold onto that case I bought was stolen as well. It was so uncalled for and I decided to trade the Apple smart watch for a standard wrist watch which clearly wouldn’t have software to track if it was stolen. The manager that helped me, Kristen was actually really great, although she was a little irritated with having to do the exchange. Primarily, that actually process the exchange. I work in customer service And even in situations where I would be a little frustrated, I would never speak to a customer and that way. I was so offended by his comment that I’m considering escalating this issue to value village HR. I am a Productive member of society, I am a consumer And I happen to be African-American And I’m not saying that this was racial at all, but that would be the only thing I can explain for these assumptions. I guarantee your average Middle class or lower class Caucasian or other race person Would not have got this type of treatment. I do reviews on good service, but I will never neglect to do reviews on bad service. This was a very easy situation And if I wasn’t given the Exchange I would’ve just given them the watch so it can go back to the rightful owner. I could’ve easily gotten arrested for possession of stolen property. But nobody thinks about that they just automatically jump to conclusions.

Value Village is a great spot to find just about anything second-hand. They have great used and new products for very reasonable prices. Parking is often easy to find. Security is on point, and the location feels safe and secure. The line is never too long to wait in, and I look forward to my next visit. 10/10

Love me a value village and this was no exception. Found some great pieces, high quality. Jewelry section was a bit skimpy and could be more accessible in price and variety, same with accessories. Other than that definitely check it out. Recommend.

Lady at the check out machines.. On Wednesday 8/9/2023 was so rude to me . And was within a foot of my face with her rude tone..I asked for Corpritate number and the lady I ask3d said she wasn't getting involved ..it's your employee or Co worker.. I left shaking I was so physically upset ? I called Corpritate... I will NEVER SHOP VALUE VILLAGE AGAIN. And will share my experience with every single person that ever suggests we shop that company. Worse Customer Service EVER!!!

Has some good things but the clothes are super over priced they ll price a Walmart shirt for 4.99 when it cost $4 at Walmart.

I left 2 stars because it was clean with a lot of items. However, Deborah, the clerk, was very rude. All the checkout lanes are self-service now and I asked her how they worked (You have to use a wand) and if there were a senior discount. A man a couple counters away interrupted and asked how to get the military discount. She walked off to help the man. At 70, I am tired of the sexism and I am no longer passively polite when clerks interrupt my service to go help a man who was behind me in line. I pointed out, using a courteous tone, that I had been first. She not only ignored the fact she had been in the middle of helping me when the man interrupted, she rolled her eyes at me in a very exaggerated and rude manner. Women should not be treated like 2nd class citizens and they should not be treated rudely when they ask for equal treatment.
