I finally got to visit the Whole Foods Market in University Place. First off, the parking is abundant with street and garage lots. The store is well organized and the experience is similar to the QFC on Mercer St. It is a haven for food enthusiasts, featuring an extensive array of high-quality natural and organic products alongside locally sourced delicacies. Main features are a wood-fired pizza eatery, a selection of local brews, a vibrant coffee bar (might be good if it was open past 2 pm) and a ton of wellness products. They also have live oysters at a pretty good deal. While the prices have gone up quite a bit in the last few years, the quality has stayed the same true to their mission. I was lucky to score some hot cross buns though this was a big miss on their part. It was dry from the inside, did not have much of any candied fruits and most importantly missed the syrupy glaze on the top. I picked up a couple of wines including the hard to find "Carmenere". Their 365 branded products are generally pretty good including the sprouted bread, cream cheese, nuts, juices etc. The checkout service was a breeze. Overall a great experience as usual. I wholly support WFHs commitment to quality, sustainability, and community welfare.

I went in looking for matcha tea but I found Blueberry scones lol which were delightful. Moist and not sweet which is something my client and I like.My client is impressed with their vegan section. She's vegan so that made her happy.

Who doesn't love Whole Foods!? It's your local bougie grocery store that has all of the stuff you need that's been made fancier than you ever thought you needed! It's basically a store for hippies that have money...only Amazon has really changed things. The joke of "Whole Paycheck" really doesn't apply anymore. Since Amazon took over I've found a lot of the products I like to buy are actually cheaper here than at the regular grocery stores. As a vegetarian I enjoy a variety of not-meats, which is something I often pay a little bit more for. Since the acquisition? Almost all of the veggie centric items are less than the regular grocery store!! Unlike a regular grocery store, Whole Foods is usually amazing when it comes to finding lunch. Huge salad bar; premade sandwiches, wraps, entrees, and pastas. The only downside is that everyone loves Whole Foods for lunch so it can be very busy. This store is the "worst" Whole Foods I've been in. Produce department was tiny to the point everyone was on top of each other, and it took a LOT of social interaction. Small cheese section, couldn't find what I wanted, though I was able to source a substitute. Pre-made food selection was also lacking, including a huge section of empty shelves. On the plus side, it was the cheapest Whole Foods bill I've ever had...because I couldn't find a lot of the stuff I wanted. I learned from the self-check out clerk that they'll pay bridge fees, so that's pretty cool for you Gig Harbor people.

Today I had the best experience I’ve ever had in a Whole Foods! It was all about the stellar customer service - Cathy in the cheese section had great recommendations for cheese + wine. Then Leslie helped us out tremendously in the floral section. Everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back soon.

Good store, high quality products, I can notice delicious pizza made to order (although the waiting time is long 30 minutes) and the most important are delicious pastries with almonds and raspberries, they are the best ?

Overall what you would expect at a whole foods. Never been to a Whole Foods where the bread is stale. Most bake on site multiple times a day. The bread at the bakery can be used as weapons. It’s extremely hard and feels like it’s a day old (this isn’t just once, this is every day).

I love Whole Foods. I hate that I live all the way in Graham and have to drive all the way over there to that store though. I wish they had one closer like in Puyallup that be amazing but I will continue to drive all the way over there. Lol

I have always wanted to try espresso at Whole Foods and Sasha did not disappoint. Sasha wanted to be sure the level of sweetness was to my liking and I was happy with my drink. I had a question about dairy and non-dairy options. The level of service and quality ingredients(real honey, not syrup), was incredible for the price. Sasha made my day so much better!! This is my new coffee place!
