We bring all of our cars to Aamco now. We have received nothing but amazing service and complete transparency on pricing and service. Thank you Elizabeth for always being so pleasant and helpful when we get our services done. We will NOT go anywhere else!!!

This shop is horrible. My 2017 Ford Expedition was having transmission problems during our trip in the summer. I took the car to this shop and was told that it needs transmission rebuild ( was given an estimated of $5-7k). I was told that they even offer financing. I think they only drove the car for 3 miles and pulled a code from the computer. I took my car to another transmission shop that actually pulled the pan and inspected the transmission. All it needed was new molded lead frame (common problem with 6R80 transmission) and new fluids. The shop even told me that my car has 2 years old transmission in there (but high miles in that 2 years). I have done thousands of miles on the car after the repair so far. I was pretty disappointed after reading all the stellar reviews on here.

The staff were professional and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problem and since the repair was not complex, the just repaired it for free. Definitely coming back with future auto issues!!

Hmm.. well front desk service not to be trusted Brian manager helped intervine with the ridiculous cost of a diagnostic charge which no justification for the charges. Be aware of making sure you are notified of the cost before it is done to your car and given your approval. Crazy what they did to me.

This location by far is the best experience I've had.
Elizabeth is very efficient and knowledgeable and polite and goes, the extra mile for you.
My car needed to be serviced quickly and they got me in that day.
Sent me a email as requested the following day then went through the invoice with me so that I understood everything that I needed to have done and waited until my husband looked at the invoice as well.
The customer service is outstanding both in the office as well as outside with the mechanics.
Thanks again for all that you did including the wipers, & liner.
One happy customer!!

Had a very good experience. Had my Ford fusion there, and they were very proactive at helping me. Got me a free tow, free diagnosis, helped me get financing, and provided a courtesy vehicle.
Sent my in-laws there.

Ok so I wrote a review but deleted it because I wanted to give an honest assessment of my experience and so here it is.
I came in with a 2010 Lincoln TownCar lost 4th gear OD and I was quoted $1,500.00 to start I agreed and now keep in mind every shop I called from Vancouver to Portland quoted me $3,000 for a complete rebuild Jasper Transmission quoted me $5,800.00 for a remanufactured unit with a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty so upon speaking with Ammco the cost to rebuild my 4 speed transmission 4W75E was gonna cost me $5620.16 with a 12,000 mile warranty. That mark up was robbery and the price was seriously overpriced.
upon taking it home I noticed that bolts were not reinstalled and found 4-5 nuts in my wiper blades tray area 3 went to my air filter box and 2 went to my firewall after couple days notice my transmission was not running properly but also my transmission mount was reinstalled and it was damaged and not good I had my transmission arch up so hard on acceleration I ended up taking it back and demanded they replaced it for free which they did after I held them accountable for it. they repaired my transmission a 2nd time
Round 3 I noticed my transmission was leaking fluid and had a funny exhaust sound and my check engine light came on so I took it back and was told my dip stick was not properly mounted. Ok I’m noticing a pattern of problems at this point where I lost trust in this shop. I take my car to this shop they fix one thing but then they break or fail to properly reinstall items around where they worked causing strain on those area which will lead to failure and more problems to repair
Fully losing trust in this Ammco ability to do the job right and seeing the neglectful patterns I took my car to my exhaust and had someone I trust do an inspection he found this…
I had my check engine light come on he told me the last person who pulled my transmission connected my 02 sensors backwards so my upstream was plugged into my downstream and vice versa my exhaust sound I was hearing came from the gasket that Ammco damaged.
For the price I paid I begun to get really annoyed because it’s the simple stuff that I was finding that made me question the quality of this business and its integrity why can’t you get it done right the 1st time why does it take so much for you to keep a loyal customer base.
For this reason my experience was not what I would ever recommend this shop to anyone
they’re seriously overpriced the service was very much like a sales experience where the woman who works there should have sold life insurance because she could sell your own house back to you if you know what I mean and that’s not a good thing. No accountability failed to complete the job and just overall very subpar experience I expect better and don’t recommend this Ammco.

Elizabeth is awesome! She was forthcoming and transparent in every aspect of my repair. I brought my car in because I was told my transfer case was bad and they towed it and checked it out and what I was told was correct so they found a replacement and replace it. They are awesome!! I will recommend this place for sure!

My clutch went out at my mailbox within sight of my driveway, and I managed to get it home. It needed to be replaced immediately since it's my only transportation, and I began looking for a place. I spent time researching places, reading customer reviews for each business, and narrowing them down between two places. After looking at the first place, I then checked out AAMCO. They were the first one I called the following morning, and I spoke to Elisabeth, recognizing her name from one of the reviews. After explaining what had happened, she told me that they'd run a diagnostics on the car, free of charge, in case it wasn't the clutch. She went on to say that they wouldn't suggest work to be done if it wasn't necessary. That statement sealed the deal for me. It's really quite easy for an auto repair business to sell you "X" when all you really need is "W." I was confident that they wouldn't do that after Elisabeth walked me through their process.
She said to get my car in that day so they could at least run the diagnostics and get back to me. I had the tow truck drop it off and gave the driver Elisabeth's name. By that afternoon, she called me with the results and the cost. The next afternoon, I went in to pick my car up and was helped by Bryan. He told me to return in 10 days so that they could recheck everything to ensure it was operating the way it was supposed to. I didn't need to make an appointment, nor would there be any cost to me for the recheck.
Honestly, I can't remember the last time I received that high level of customer service from the initial phone conversation to pick up. If you want a level of honesty that can be rare to find in auto repair, I highly recommend the AAMCO in Hazel Dell on Hwy 99. They deliver on their website's quality assurance statement, and I will be a returning customer.

So came in for a transmission rebuild quote on my 2010 Lincoln Town Car the process was easy and didn't take long. The issue I ran into that made me consider another shop was the front end manager. The front desk lady used the words that I've seen in my 5 years experience in car sales which shot up red flags that I'm about to get over charged and screwed the famous quote is "in order to save you the most money" mentioned at least 15 time when I had questions about specifics like using limousine grade parts explaining my concern because other shops have used sedan grade parts which will fit and function on this car but will not last because the car is a long wheel base and requires all heavy duty special purpose equipment where available I ask similar questions about using OE Factory Fluid Motorcraft Mercon LV and asked what they use. Every question I had was again responded with a vague no direct answer and always included "to save you the most money" That right there was red flag enough for me to take my business elsewhere trust is a very serious thing and you'd be better off saying I don't know instead of sounding like you're reading from pre prepared script that they similarly give to telemarketing sales people who often take advantage of their customers and customers live to regret it. My gut and my knowledge of my own car tells me I shouldn't trust your business and it's unfortunate because I've had my 1st 2 cars serviced at Ammco in Anaheim CA which took very good care of me and it's unfortunate that this business is a franchise with no system integration for customer service records I think owners should consider that for purposes of maintaining good quality service with customers and not run the risk of losing one when cases like these come up. I give 3 stars because the inspection was thorough and timely.

Front desk staff woman was very knowledgeable and helpful ! Honestly I about yanked my appointment because of all the reviews on here but it was a great experience and would recommend. The only thing that was kind of annoying was the ring cameras that constantly say "hi you are being recorded " probably went off 30 plus times while I was there didn't really make the front desk seating area welcoming at every move it would go off. But I understood it's on fourth plain and the sketchy folks that might go in
