Jim at B&L is the best! Super easy to communicate with and he knows this business! He did a fantastic job of replacing my wheel bearing and was able to fit me in to his busy schedule so that i could make my planned road trip. The work is great, the service is great, the price is great! This is my auto repair shop! Highly recommend!!

Excellent job on my Jeep after 8 months of dissatisfaction at Les Schwab. Schwab's guys caused my wheel/tire to fall off while I was driving and my Jeep has never driven correctly since. I have NOT felt safe in it and after about 8-9 additional visits there, it still is not safe. I refused to go to the Jeep dealership because they only talk about offering to buy my Jeep so they can resell it but that leaves me with having to finance a new Jeep. They are too salesy and don't put their customers first.I was referred to Jim by a Jeep-owning friend so I took it there. I was so relieved when Jim understood the problems I described the Jeep having. He was thorough, courteous, efficient and overall such a nice and friendly man. Their prices are very reasonable and fair. I drove home in my Jeep and it was the first time it drove well and I felt safe doing so since the wheel/tire fell off in February. I will definitely go back to Jim when my Jeep needs servicing again.

Quick and easy, fair and reasonable pricing. Had my Toyota serviced for a 90k service, had it done in a day. 10/10 will go back later for new brakes.

Our family has used B&L for years. Literally the only mechanic shop I will recommend, and I was an SAE certified auto tech myself!

Heater wasn't working, sunroof had a drip, power locks weren't properly working. They had my vehicle for a week and a half and said they cleaned sunroof drains and that some heat was now coming out of window defroster, and locks were working. Picked up vehicle, air still wasn’t coming out of any vents execept slight amount in window defroster (not enough to keep window defrosted), power locks weren't working properly, still a small drip in sunroof. Took back and they had car for 2 weeks and got air to flow out of all vents, said they couldn't get part to fix locks, and they thought sunroof drip was gone. Problem: air was cold (had a vehicle with no heat during the snow storm), and sunroof still dripped. They had my car for 3.5 weeks in total, I spent over $2k, and still had the same issues. I left a v.m. that heater wasn't working and didn't get a call back. I took it to another shop, they identified the heater core as the issue, replaced heater, and it works great now. Went to a sunroof specialist and got sunroof seal replaced and that seems good now. B&L used to be good; not sure what happened.

If I could rate this place higher, I would. The owner worked on my car himself, and he is a trustworthy and fair man. He charged me less than he quoted me after calculating hours and parts. Go here if you can. At the time of writing, he's short staffed and there's a tight schedule; but that's how you know he's good.Replaced my alternator and my rear brake pads in about 5 hours, after ordering the parts when I brought the car in. Really solid work.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I take my car's here for whatever I don't want to attempt or need a lift for. Jim knows these cars in and out and is highly knowledgeable about what parts need to be OEM and/or what aftermarket parts are junk. Listen to this man!Alex is also highly skilled and knowledgeable. He's got that alignment machine down to a science and ensures your equipment is road safe.Either tech can handle your repair with ease. You're in trusted hands at B&L.

I started taking my '01 Audi S4 to B&L probably around 2012-ish.Since that time I've had rmv/repl work for Radiator, Water-Pump, Timing-Chain/Belt, various Engine Diagnostics & Tune-up, estimates for brakes, suspension, steering and transmission work, along with common Oil changes, filters, Battery inst., charging system eval, (elec.) window regulator repl., etc..Jim was always - as another reviewer called him - a "straight shooter". I'm usually a good judge of character in a pinch, but the years as a customer have confirmed my initial impressions - he's just a GOOD GUY. He's always been more than fair, and has put in the effort to make things easier, less expensive, and well understood - every time - despite being very busy, as a reputable shop will be. Bottom-line, I trust Jim. He values his clients, and clearly respects our trust. I _know_ that if there was something they believed another shop would be better at (I honestly can't imagine it, but there might be some quirky make/model vehicle(?)..), rather than expressing any false bravado, they'd offer to refer me elsewhere - explaining the reasoning, risks or whatever. I trust B&L, and especially Jim, completely - 9+ years as a customer has proven them honest and reliable (I wonder if Jim's value, in terms of customer care and retention, is fully appreciated - hope so).Best of all, at B&L they KNOW THEIR STUFF.. they don't spend repair-hours with excessive "experimental/investigative digging". They're internet-saavy, and know how to find the info they need if there's any question/doubts. They're a smart, experienced staff who clearly work as a team as well as in isolation whichever is called for.First time I brought my S4 to 'em, spent a few minutes chatting about the Audi S4 (as a semi-retired engineer, I knew the designs, details and quirks for the S4, pretty well - but with a disability, doing my own work's far harder than it once was (not to mention special diagnostic & etc tools required for repair of modern imports) when we met, it was clear that Jim and his staff had done their research as well as having had experience with Audi and other imports. They always call to discuss findings before "diving in" and Jim is quick to offer helpful advice, including other services as he's well familiar with local business, tow-services, auto-glass shops, etc..It's been awhile since I non-op'd the Audi, so haven't had repair or even service needs for a couple years, but - B&L are definitely the only Auto Repair service for my vehicles.Services: Air & Cabin Filter
