I was previously the floor manager of the largest Volkswagen in California and worked for Volkswagen for a very long time. I am well acquainted with the procedures and time it normally takes to service a vehicle.I was the only one in waiting room for 2 hours on a week day. The tech never came out to give an update. I had to ask three times when the car would be done and each time they said 5 minutes, it was not 5 minutes. The clock on my car was not reset and for the second time in a row they didn't reset the MFI service date for the car. I called the next day to speak to the service manager and they never called me back.

I had the best experience at this dealership! Garrett was my sales guy and he was phenomenal! Zane was incredible as well! I can't say enough about these guys as they were fantastic with their personable skills, knowledge, and just all around fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The ONE thing that could be improved--because, let's be honest, you are the most caring and most efficient place to go for VW service--is a bit more proactive communication regarding service updates.Communication from the dealership is good. Not great, but it is pretty good. I recently had a number of repairs done, and of course, given the amount of work being done, this required a day and a half to two days for completion and I needed to rent a car as a result. This, of course brings with it a set of logistical hoops and sometimes coordination with others. It would have been helpful to have periodic status updates--even automated--to let you know about the progress of the repair and estimated time to completion. Instead of having this information pushed to me I had to gently keep after my very kind and very helpful service manager several times and wait for a reply while I was trying to plan around having and returning the rental car.The messages themselves are sometimes unclear--perhaps having a streamlined format or template in the messaging could help to dispel some of the confusion about parts and cost.

I worked with many of the employees at the dealer, but primarily Isaac. He was key in making sure that all my concerns were addressed. He followed through and continually checked in to make the purchase a success. Even after my purchase he continued to check in and offered support. His easy-going manner helped feel confident that buying the vehicle was a good decision.

Larry and Zane were super friendly and knowledgeable in helping me test drive and negotiate a fair price for an excellent quality pre-owned Beetle. The process was easy and seamless. I contacted Larry right after the car was listed and by the time I test drove it two days later, even though it was a holiday weekend, the car was clean and detailed and ready to go. I drove down from Seattle with my husband so that he could drive our other car back home, and I told them in the beginning that I was the only one purchasing a car. I never once felt like the sales/financing crew was ignoring me to talk to him instead, which has been a reason I’ve walked out of dealerships in the past. They did fair and clear business with me. I didn’t feel pressured or guilted into purchasing add-ons or extraneous packages, and I wasn’t given any surprise charges on the final itemized receipt. Overall, I’d happily drive back down to Vancouver next time I’m in the market for a vehicle.

My experience was unique as I came to you knowing the vehicle I wanted and did not need to be talked into purchasing a new car. So for you I was a very easy customer, I new the car I wanted and how I was going to pay for it. Sales persons I dealt with were very nice, no issue there at all. Dealing with the sales manager/finance person was my least favorite part when we were negotiating the final price. I did not appreciate being pressured to buy extra coverage on the car when they could not give me any details on what they were trying to sell to me. And mind you these were very expensive extras they were trying to sell to me, thousands of dollars, not a few hundred dollars. And when I pushed to get information these extended warranties, pamphlet, webpage, they were not able to provide this information. Which tells me that they were trying to sell me something I did not need. I also was not thrilled to pay for something "that was already on the car and they could not take off" which was the paint and interior extra protection and some kind of theft deterrent thing that I still do not understand what this is as finance person would not give me details. I suspect that this maybe something that is already on every car, but as I wanted to finish up the purchase I did not have time to research this. Other than that everything else was great, paperwork done finished fast. The support I am getting from the sales team with any issues or questions has been incredible!

Everyone was extremely kind and came up to say hi and congrats to my purchase. Garret was fantastic, made me a priority despite his parents visiting the dealership from out of state. He even waited to greet them until we were wrapping everything up.

I came to the dealer with a specific used Atlas Cross Sport in mind that I'd seen online, Isaac Ringering helped me find a brand new one that had more features that I wanted for a similar price and then explained I'd also have the benefit of a great warranty with a new car also. Really appreciated his advice and knowledge of their large inventory. I would like to also mention Jacob Treacy who was extremely helpful in explaining the financing and working with me to make the whole buying experience one of the best I've ever had - and I've owned plenty of cars in my life! I felt like I was buying a car from good friends! Even the financial paperwork was handled smoothly with the help of Colin. Also the inventory there was huge for a great selection- largest VW inventory I've ever seen. I highly recommend buying a VW from Jacob and Isaac!!

I walked in, told them my down amount, Nick made it super fast and streamlined the entire process. He was very knowledgeable about the new id4 and I didn't even pay for anything when I drove off, instead I was allowed to come back a couple days later and pay my agreed upon down payment.

I appreciated that you listened to us and did not push us to finance to buy a newer car. We just got back from a 649 mile trip and the car ran beautifully. We got about 47 miles a gallon, so I’m happy about that. I would have liked it if you had suggested where we might take the car to get the dent removed and the scratches buffed out. Everyone was very friendly and I especially appreciated Alex for helping us.

I had a great experience. This was my first time buying a car and I felt extremely supported and not pressured at all. Zane was my car salesman with Volkswagen and did an outstanding job.He took everything that was important to me in a car that was well within my budget. I can say he truly set me up for success and explained all the great warranties that came along with my purchase. He has also been super helpful even after my purchase responding to every little question l've had. If you're planning on making an appointment to look at cars with VW, Zane is your man!

This is was my second time at Dick Hannah Volkswagen in 6 months. First time I got my Toyota tundra for myself. This time a Kia Sorento for my wife. The staff is great. Larry, Alex, Garrett and Jacob …… all great to work with. 10 out of 10 obviously why I did it again. Thanks fellas.

My only negative is the fact that everyone strongly suggested financing through the dealership and my credit was ran and took a blow with no need, due to the fact I was already pre approved and had already stated it to multiple employees multiple times. However, my overall experience at VW was good! The salesmen were all kind and they went above and beyond by driving all the way to Salem for the car I specifically wanted. I also got it at a reasonable price and Alex ensured that it was all to standard by filling the gas, windshield fluid and teaching me the basic functions and buttons on the dash.
