The yeast donuts are so perfectly light and fluffy! Try their glazed twists for sure. The Bavarian cream is extremely good and they fill a good amount. Their chocolate glaze isn't very flavorful, but at least doesn't have that fake chocolate syrup flavor you'll find at other places. Apple fritter is excellent. Decent value at ~$2.25-$2.75 per donut, good selection.Parking: Lots of parking to the left of the building, probably more than is necessary.

I just moved to Vancouver and this amazing donut place is close to me so I decided to get two half dozens for friends and myself. First of all the only slightly negative thing I have to say about the place is the parking is a little tricky when busy other than that you absolutely must come and visit this adorable donut shop.First thing you notice when you walk in is the amazing smell of freshly brewed coffee. I will attest the coffee is absolutely delicious. Nothing fancy just great coffee that you would get at an old style diner.Next if you go in the morning you will see a bunch of people just sitting and visiting and you can instantly see that this shop is a neighborhood staple. People were so friendly! I even had a sweet gentleman come up and ask if he could go out to my car and give my dog a treat. That absolutely just touched me and my baby girl Zia was thrilled!I have been to a lot of donut shops in my life and I will say this definitely rates in the top five. The bear claws are literally one of the best donuts I've ever had. They are crunchy and cinnamony with a slight taste of possibly almond? I have not figured it out but it is absolutely tremendous and the inside is like a flaky croissant almost. I could gain a thousand pounds eating just those alone! The maple bacon donuts are rich and flavorful and soft and chewy. The cinnamon twist are a burst of cinnamon and really shaped very cool. I haven't tried the other ones yet that I got but I highly suggest visiting this super friendly amazing donut shop. You will absolutely not be disappointed!I got 12 specialty & regular donuts split into six in each box and a small cup of coffee to go and it was $25. After tasting them I think I got an incredible deal!

Great donuts... Simply the best in Vancouver. Friendly, patient people behind the counter. I'm rating the atmosphere 5-stars because I love it. The couches may show some age, but they are a part of the Donut Nook... seems like they always have been.

Great donuts, period, end.It feels like someone didn't get the memo on mass producing donuts faster with cheaper ingredients. The donuts tase great; as authentic as the interior design and the regular customers.

Best donuts in town. The old timers hang out here, so you know it's good. Also no phallic donuts like that hipster place that everyone seems to love.

I’m new to the area and my first visit here was great. There is a local man with a donkey that brings him here most mornings for his own apple fritter. Super cool.
