“The owners of the backyard bird shop are true animal lovers. All their statues and birdbaths come packed in large crates stuff with woodwool. A straw looking material of wood straps balled up.I work for the Oregon Zoo, and they donate all this woodwool packing to our zoo for our animals to use as bedding and enrichment play.When visiting the zoo, look for this in many of the enclosures.Our primates, polar bears, black bear cubs, tigers, and lions really love it, and thank you”
“I always have a great experience with NW Plaza Coin Buyers. I've visited three times, and it is always a great experience. You can set up an appointment or go to the shop. I felt safe knowing the owner had the doors locked while he worked on my project.The owner is always a delightful and knowledgeable man. He evaluates coins with speed, precision and enthusiasm. With each set of coins, he evaluated them for quality, and told me a price, which I then agreed to. Additionally, he kept a runing tally on an Excel spreadsheet while he was working. I could tell he enjoyed his work.I would definitely do business with NW Plaza Coin Buyers again. Thank you!”

“MTG fan since 99’. When I walk in for tcg product it’s marked at msrp not marked up for overhead gain. Sure may not be fancy but worth the time. CCGHouse is 60 seconds away from this location and you’d pay hella mark up; for instance you guys sold bloomburrow squirreled away deck for $39.99 when CCGHouse sold same exact product for $99.99. I’ll support my hobby shopping with you guys first, but would be cool if you guys ever got the space/interest in organized play. Also you guys a lot of the time have single cards that are sold out at other stores so that’s a plus.”
“With a little of everything laid out in an organized fashion this store has pleasantly surprised me each time I've come looking for some random item. Compared to other large box store craft stores it's the customer service that earns my five stars. They patiently assist you with their app to insure you are getting all the discounts possible. They answer questions kindly and are willing to help you search for items if needed. For those of you in a hurry they have many self check out registers available as well. There is always a large variety of seasonal items, but that doesn't mean they decrease regular stock items either. I've been to many different Michael's, in many different cities, but this particular store's consistent outstanding customer service made me stop during my busy day to give it a much deserved shout out. Thanks!!!”

“This is the best Hobby Shop around, hands down. I drive up from Salem just to shop with Columbia Sports Cards. They have the best prices, with free shipping if I can’t make it up in person.I’ve pulled some incredible cards out of the Hobby Boxes over the past year or so, including a case hit in this year’s 2024 Topps Heritage (Purple Refractors).The employees are always super helpful and very knowledgeable.Again, I will drive through awful Portland traffic and dodge hobo’s along 205, just to buy from this local shop.Go Beavs ”

“1st time wanting to buy some figure painting supplies. Employees were very knowledgable, kind, and PATIENT. We had all-the-questions. Bundled single paints into a starter set price because they were out of the sets, the man had written down all the colors in the set and then picked them out and explained each one. Exactly what we hope a small business to be when we are forging into new territory. Husband looking forward to going to an event night and paint amongst peers. Thank you!”
