I had some very basic questions because I’m a new Airbnb owner and I felt like I had made some mistakes on my small business taxes last year, but I met with Laurie Christiano and I had my (again, super basic, I’m so new at this) questions answered. This location is only a few blocks from my house and in the future I will remember them if I need any help, everyone working there when I arrived seemed really nice and warm :)

Yes the young guy that's that I had my appointment with screwed me all up more or less screwed me and my ex-wife out of 2800 for our stimulus checks that we were filing for that's what our appointment was for but that's not what we got to do he said not to worry because you have till the 18th and I'll make the appointment for tomorrow on the 16th well we go in on the 16th and he was misinformed and all he said was sorry he was acting like that IRS Nazi police just just a dumbass I'll never use h&r block again

I called this office because I needed transcripts for a specific need. The woman who helped me was named Joan. She usually works at the Orchards office during tax season, but after tax season she works at the main office on Maine Street in Vancouver Washington. She gave me information on how to get these transcripts via the IRS website. If I needed a different type of transcript, a more specified type, she instructed me on how to get them from the IRS office in downtown Vancouver by the courthouse. Her instructions were clear and detailed, and the whole experience was kind and helpful. I would highly recommend going to see her. She is very knowledgeable as well as friendly. H& R Block made an excellent choice when hiring her!!!

Cannot maintain their schedule. We sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes past our appointment time with no estimate when our preparer would be available for our appointment. We walked out.Went back for our rescheduled appointment and the preparer again was running 30 minutes behind on our appointment. We ended up switching to a different preparer. If you want your appointment to run on time avoid scheduling with Aaron.

Glenda Christensen is an all star and the only reason I travel out of my way to do my taxes at this location. I’ve always gotten fantastic service and really feel like she cares about the customers. I will continue to come back to this location as long as she is there. Thanks again Glenda!

I've been doing my taxes online for years but my situation was different this year so I really wanted a tax pro to do them for me so I made an appointment online. When I got there they had no record of my appointment so it was probably something I did wrong but Mariah was so nice and MORE than accommodating and offered me an appointment time later that day or I could simply do a drop off, which is what I did, and Aaron had them done for me the next day. It was all around a great experience. Thank you!

The preparer we got made a huge error on our taxes which was not caught by her supervisor. It resulted in our income looking 90,000 more than it is! It was only caught when we took our taxes to a CPA months later, who immediately spotted it. We took the file back and had fortunately purchased insurance they offer. Otherwise I was led to believe we would have been out of luck. They supposedly fixed it, with no apology no attempt to make any of our ensuing financial hardship right. They flippantly said we would get a great refund. We had to put the IRS payment on a credit card. The incorrect income resulted in my husband's social security being reduced. It impacted my son's FASFA. We had to pull money out of a retirement account to pay as much as we could before charging the rest which will skew next year's income as well! We are not wealthy; we will never be able to replace what we had to take out. It has had a huge effect on us financially, and the stress it has caused us isn't financially quantifiable. We went to them out of desperation because we couldn't find a CPA in time. It's better to file late with penalties that risk them screw up your life!

Well, was Aaron the most unhelpful tax preparer of all time. Waited a month and a half for my tax refund before calling the office to followup. All Aaron reiterated was "go call IRS, no I don't know the number, just google it."I checked with IRS who basically kicked me back to H&R block, so I called again, and Aaron basically said "I don't know what you want us to do, just wait longer." I asked him to check the status and verify the numbers in case we made a mistake and need to correct it with IRS. He reiterated that there's nothing he can do from their end, and said that he doesn't know what else he can provide me.If your tax preparers don't know how to help people solve their tax issues... maybe consider another occupation? I've had great experience here with the accountants, and I'm sad that Aaron is ruining the reputation single handedly with his arrogance and incompetence.
