Lovely coffee and breakfast place in Vancouver. Every time we drive up the coast we make a point to stop here for their breakfast items, fantastic coffee, yummy croissants, and one of the best yogurt treats we’ve ever had!

I loved the knowledgeable person helping me at the counter when I asked what she had on tap and the drinks I ordered from her. For the service she delivered and quality of beans used I’ll definitely be back.

I paid 6 dollars for a tea with curdled milk floating in it.I asked for a new one and was told, “this is what you ordered, you can PAY for a new one,” (in a very stuck up tone) I will NEVER be back. You add milk to cooler tea, so it doesn’t curdle… no one orders curdled milk in their tea…

Had a coffee here recently. The staff was super helpful regarding describing their coffee flavor profiles. My Americano was very smooth, expertly prepared. The muffins we tried were both dry and not very tasty. Really appreciated the staff making an effort to find a bean that I would enjoy.

Coffee was good but service was average. The other day they didn't have hot chocolate and pastries.

Super bad experience. Whoever worked 11/24/23 was mean, awful. Took 45 minutes for a coffee, eye being rolled, rude. Never experienced this in my

I stopped in for an Americano. It had noticeably more flavor than the average Americano, and it was also a bit stronger! What more could you ask for? Looking forward to trying the drip next time!

I love the vanilla lattes here. One of my favorite coffee shops. I'm picky with my lattes and these are 10/10.

Kafiex is a coffee shop local to Vancouver. They have this location on Esther St right next to the weekend farmers market, as well as another spot on the waterfront. This store is cute, very bright with lots of windows. Fun mural behind the counter. A long table in the middle and a few smaller two/four person tables. Service has been good. Pastries have been just okay. I've enjoyed the coffees I've had here, though I wish they had bigger sizes for less cost (which is similar to most independent shops these days). I've just gotten the regular drip with half and half. I know their roasting has gotten them some awards so bigger coffee connoisseurs than me may appreciate it more!

The coffee was horrible tastes like water, we paid more than $8 for a 12oz Vanilla Latte. Do not recommend getting coffee here.

I spent $80 at this place. The drink was not good and they made up pay for a new drink. They got our breakfast order wrong and we asked them if we can just give them all our food and drink items back and asked for a refund. The owner came up and said she doesn’t do refunds because “she made what we ordered”. I would like to start off that the cashier was new, she was nice and this is nothing against her because she is so sweet. But the manager did not train her well. I never look at a menu for coffee when I know what coffee I want- I just order. That’s anywhere- and yet I never have this issue. It was for an iced dirty chai. Apparently they only have masala chai and sure it’s on their menu but again that should always be SPECIFIED because I didn’t specify. The new girl just rung it up that way and it wasn’t specified to me they only had masala so NO that is NOT what I ordered. I wasn’t going to argue with her though. Because that’s embarrassing when any other place that has one specific chai would specify that to me if I don’t specify that and ask me if that was okay before going through with it, which is how it should be. That how that girl should have been trained. So how is that “what I ordered”? That’s what was rung up without my confirmation. This place charges $17 for a piece of bread anyway. Don’t go here if you want terrible service and expensive food where they ask for a tip but buss your own tables and make you get up when there’s something wrong. The owner should be embarrassed of how she trains people and lacks making that policy upfront and known somewhere.

I have tried both locations because I work nearby. Convenience is definitely not always worth it !!!I’m a coffee lover and this place definitely does not make the grade, basic at best.It was way overpriced for the quality.I most definitely would not recommend to coffee nuts like me.There several other great coffee shops in same area.

I have tried both locations because I work in the area and have found that convenience is definitely not always worth it. coffee was not that great and definitely overpriced for what you get.I would not recommend to fellow coffee nuts. There are plenty of other great shops near by.
