“Love this place! We go here for gifts we send out of state for a taste of local, and for stocking stuffers. They sell a lot of locally made crafts and snacks and it's always fun to browse.”

“I love shopping here so much, I have easy access to candy which isn't all about sugar and actually had flavor that isn't completely artificial.
My only real issue is that the water fountain has too little pressure, and it seems like 70% of all candy bars I buy, have been smashed by something or someone, which can make it really difficult to get it out of the wrapper.”

“This is an awesome Safeway. I don't know why people would give it bad reviews. They have awesome employees and the store is always clean and well stocked. I love how there aren't employees EVERYWHERE like some of their competitors. I can come in and just take my time and breathe because the store is big and not overcrowded. It's definitely busy but it doesn't feel that way. One of my favorite stores and definitely a regular go to plus they have tons of deals on food, weekly coupons and discounts on gas. They also have tons of organic options as well as plant based options too if one is looking for that. Simply love this store. Keep up the great work. Thank you!!”

“On Monday morning, October 3rd I walked into Safeway Main Street hoping to get a bivalent Covid vaccine. The pharmacy was very busy with 5-7 people lining up & completing forms. The front desk pharmacy staff did an outstanding job of getting paperwork from people, keeping it organized & efficiently processing people & getting them vaccinated. Olga the staff member administering vaccines was equally efficient & professional. I wanted to recognize the outstanding service! I needed this vaccine to attend a family wedding so I am thankful for the great service!”
“I wanted to give a shout out to the bakery department at this Safeway!We usually spring for Nothing Bundt Cakes for birthday parties, but given the cost of everything decided to go a less expensive route. The cakes were beautifully decorated, the bakery staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and the cakes were absolutely delicious!! This Safeway's bakery single handedly has me thinking differently about grocery store cake!”

“First of all, FIVE STARS for Brandon in the meat dept.!!! He ALWAYS has a smile on his face and when you ask him how his day is going, he replies FANTASTIC! And HE MEANS IT! PLUS Solomon, the worlds most sweetest and hard working checkers, makes my day every single time that I see him. People don't realize the effect they have on someone's day and I will go out of my way to do business with someone who has a nice staff even if what I want may be easier to find elsewhere. This is a good example of that. This Safeway (162nd) happens to be the most convenient to my home and it is super unfortunate because half the time, they don't have what I need. The shelves seem to be bare. I, also, think the produce is THE WORST here and so again, I have to shop somewhere else. Nothing worse than paying for something that is bad. I check out Safeway's in other areas and they are better stocked, cleaner, etc. but I continue to go back hoping things will change and knowing that at least, Brandon or Solomon should be there to make me smile :)”
“This is my go to store for a cold beer & scratcher’s not to mention every person in there is friendly and helpful attentive to the task at hand. I also bought a 3$ scratcher here & it won for $500 so that’s a plus!!”

“I ordered the BBS (Basic Breakfast Sandwich) — egg, cheddar, and sausage on an English muffin. She said it would be ready in five minutes. OMW is a nice little shop with friendly staff who offered me a few different hot sauces; I chose their verde to try later. The sandwich needed to be reviewed as-is.
The bun was unlike any English muffin I’ve seen, but the bread was good and the eggs were quality. Unfortunately, the house-made sausage was very bland—in fact, it tasted a bit odd. Price was $8 before tip. The OMW BBS might be my least favorite of the breakfast sandwiches I’ve tried. If I added Cajun spice, it might have been okay, but the sausage just didn’t do its job. Staff was nice. Street parking is luck of the draw. -VanPort Insider”
