Marissa is Amazing! She is our saving grace!
My Sisters had issues with the bridal shop she purchased her wedding dress from and were alterations should have been done at, but her dress arrived just 16 days before her wedding, and the alterations lady had moved her office from Vancouver to Tillamook.
So we had to scramble to find someone that could do it in a short period of time.
I had called MB Couture first and left a message but continued calling other businesses around the area, but no luck.
Marissa called me back 30 mins later and without hesitation she accepted the challenge and wanted to help us out.
She hemmed the dress, added sleeves that needed to be added, an extra skirt layer, a bustle, and took in the sides for a tighter fit for the waist and bust. She did this all in less than 2 weeks and it turned out perfect! The Bride is above the moon happy! All thanks to her!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

I called MB Bridal Couture the same week that I was in dire need of a serious alteration to the bust and back of my beautiful beach wedding dress for my destination wedding. Marissa had less than four days notice to fix it for me and she did it impeccably! She was so kind and patient with me through the whole process. Marissa pulled off a miracle on my daughter’s prom dress. She hemmed it, altered the back waist and did a very tricky alteration to the front bodice area. We were nervous because there was no room for error and no time to get another dress. We definitely did not need to worry. Everything was perfect and I’m super happy to have found someone this talented in our area.

Marissa did an excellent job altering a prom dress for my daughter! The dress needed to be shortened, a bodice adjustment, and a change to the neckline. Marissa handled it all on a short timeline with a lovely result!

Marissa helped me create this custom dress for my wedding in October. It was a lot of work, but she worked magic. This dress was previously white, strapless, heavy. She totally recreated it to the vision I had. I really wanted to be married in a red dress but it is impossible to find anything. I am so happy with how it turned out. We took it down to the day before the wedding to finish up the details, but it was worth it. I asked for extra loose decorative straps for the dress and to recreate the stripes look in red. The hem was taken up quite a bit, and we removed the buttons on the original white dress. I would recommend being up front about your timeline for when you expect to have the project finished, but I was ok with it being same day pick up as my wedding.

Marissa is the sweetest lady. I was very nervous because my dress arrived three months before my wedding and most people want at least four months to alter your dress. Marissa said no problem! I went to a bridal alteration shop in town and the vibes were off and they quoted an outrageous price much more than the average rates I expected. I walked into Marissa’s place and she immediately made me comfortable and her quote was very reasonable and expected. I will STRESS as others have mentioned in their reviews that Marissa is not in constant communication with you but know she will get your dress on time and it will be done very well. I found myself reaching out with her to check in and she’d always assure me that the dress would be ready! And it was! I would wholeheartedly recommend her and I will use her in the future for sure!
