Three of us went for lunch on a Saturday at about 1 pm. We had an appetizer of Cajun Tots which were a lot of tots! They could have been seasoned a bit more but they were good. Mains were the JR Deluxe burger approx. $20, Blue Cheese Burger approx. $20 (not sure if that's what it's called) & Lunchbox special: Toasted Albacore Tuna 1/2 sandwich w/ clam chowder & salad $12.The food was good and the service was outstanding! There was a bit of a wait for the food but not bad for a busy Saturday Lunch.I really can't wait till it gets warmer and sit outside overlooking the Columbia River!Nice atmosphere although I really felt like the tables & booths were really crammed together. Made it hard for people to walk around including servers.With the addition of 2 beers & 1 coffee total bill was approx. $93.

I've been coming to McMenamins for the last 25 years. This was PRICE GOUGING at it's finest. The whole menu was crazy high for a pub. $22 for (2 small-sized pieces of) fish and chips. The fish looked like it came from a frozen bag and was dumped into the fryer. It was okay but not what I expect for the price. The coleslaw looked to be 3-4 days old. Couldn't eat it. Just awful. How can you mess that up?The server was fine. She took off the soup from our tab as it was not liked by my guest. She was friendly for sure. No issues there.But all in all, I felt it was extremely overpriced for what we received. I don't think I can eat at another McMenamins. We used to go there all the time. Back when the hummus plate was $7.75 and now it's $18. I know, you want to blame inflation. BUT price gouging is a thing and I'm seeing it more. At least give us good food.

Have been going here for years. Always have had great experiences until tonight. It was busy, sat at the bar...apparently the area where servers do their drinks. We got hit with ice, splashed with water when they banged the dishwasher tray repeatedly on the counter in front of us. We asked the hostess to move to one of the tables by the bar. Our server rolled her eyes when we did, we would have asked her, but she never came back after we got our drinks. From that point on we never received service again. Was never asked if we wanted more drinks or anything. I had wanted to order food to go for my husband, but wasnt able to. I had to get up and go to the manager at the bar to pay. All he could say was, oh we forgot about you over there, never apologized. I mentioned that our burgers were stone cold when we got them. Again, no apology, just said thanks for letting me know. Very flippant. Not handled well. Don't think this place will be on our roster any more. Will be finding a new spot for business lunches too. Unfortunate. But plenty of new places to choose from on the river to go.We also had a 35-40 minute wait for our food, but that was because the sun was out on the river!! : )

Rude treatment by hostess.. I should have seen it coming...Was told we would be waiting 10 to 15 mins. No problem... then we saw several other parties who came after us.. seated before us. At the 36 min mark, and all of these other walk ins getting seated, I lost my patience. Plenty of open tables and clearly being ignored. We left. Won't ever go back to that location. Instead I'll spend my money where it is welcome. And I tell will tell EVERYBODY I know, and I know a LOT of people, to not patronize that location. It's not worth the trouble/ attitude.

So far we've enjoyed everything we've tried. Seating on the patio was nice, the heaters are warm. Could have used refills, also the pop wasn't as carbonated as it should be. This time we had the salmon sandwich and the grilled turkey bacon sandwich. There was about a 20 minute wait on a nice Friday evening.

There were 9 of us celebrating my husband's 89th birthday. When we sat down, there was a happy hour card, drinks and dinners on the table. I thought Sunday would not have a happy hour. We asked and our waitress said to order off of it. When the bill came it was not the happy hour drinks or the food. We asked her and she said she would have her manager come over. He did and he said there isn't any happy hour on Sundays. The happy hour card was still on the table. The little bit of money that would have taken off, was not the idea at all. It was the manager's demeanor and attitude that was wrong. We eat at McMenamins frequently. Customer service was not there by him. Our waitress did her job, he didn't

Normally I enjoy this place but tonight was pretty bad. Ordered the special, a lobser Mac but it came out cold to the touch...twice. 3rd time was hot. Ordered 3 Shirley temples and a Spicy Margarita and not once during dinner did we get offered any refills, not even my water got refilled. Ordered a 2nd kids Mac-n-cheese when the meal arrived and I think she forgot to put it in as it didn't show up until we were completely done eating. Hope this is not a sign this place is losing their edge.

Great views on the River. Very good service. Cajun tots are always good as was the turkey sandwich. Wife had the lobster Mac and cheese and said it was good.

I did not review service or atmosphere because I used 3rd-party delivery, and found the item pictured to be the dessert I ordered.Since I had a receipt, I was able to get a reminder of what this thing was supposed to be—“Frank Apple-Pecan Cake.” (That wasn’t obvious?)Really, McMenamins? If Sysco had an app, I could have just ordered dinner directly from them. At least include the microwave instructions on the menu if you’re going to deliver meal kits.
