This studio have employees who lie about terms of your contract, they don’t tell you that after taking unlimited classes membership if you book a class and can’t make it they charge you a cancellation fee of 18$ and not only that. As soon as I discovered the real conditions of their agreement I asked for a cancellation of the contract before 30 days and asked for a refund, the manager almost laughed in my face and only not called me stupid, did not care about my situation, all they care is to charge the money for this month and the next one. I was never more disappointed in people in my life, I will let all my communities know about them and never recommend to anyone this studio. My most horrible experience when I trusted people words.

I've been coming to this location for 4 months now and I'm super happy! First off so, the OTF experience overall flat works. I'm down over 15 pounds, my BP had improved so much that my doctor took me off of medication, and I have so much more energy and strength. I fit in my old clothes again too! I love the class formats and the signature workouts every month. I just finished "Hell Week" and it was not something that I would have been able to do even 5 years ago.Now on to this location itself. I've attended 3 different locations now and feel like I can talk to strengths and weaknesses. The waiting area is the smallest of the ones I've been to, but the weight floor area is on the more roomy side. The staff here is great! The coaches all have great personalities and are very positive and encouraging. The front end staff are helpful and friendly! I love this location and come here 2-3x/week now.

Do not sign up! You can do this workout at any gym for a lot cheaper just by watching a YouTube video. $183 for a gym membership is too much, not to mention if you do not cancel a class within 8 hours, they charge you $18. Not good if you are a healthcare professional who likely gets called to work last minute. They do not like to give exceptions and they will scold you when you call to explain a cancel. When I signed up, I was told they would always "help me out" if I needed to cancel. They lied. I was always given a hard time. In 5 months I cancelled 3 maybe 4 times. Do not believe them when they say they will wave the fee. The manager lies as well. I cancelled my membership, in writing, 20 something days prior to my billing cycle and they still charged me. Not only did I cancel but I was injured (shin splints) and hadn't used the gym in weeks. They still felt it appropriate to charge me for another 30 days that I cannot use. When I spoke with the manager I told her I would consider going back at a later date when I was no longer injured and my schedule lighten up a bit. I was told she would get back to me on reversing the charges and she never did. I had to file a dispute with my bank since no services will be able to rendered. Also, if you need to use a gym other then your home gym, expect to pay a fee there as well. This is a money aggressive corporation who will sooner take your $183 then hope you will come back and spend more later. If I lose my disbute, keep your $183 but know you lost a lot more by keeping me from returning, not to mention all the people I will discourage from joining your gym. Especially first responders and anyone in healthcare. Not a gym for us. This particular gym seems to be run by younger people who have no interest and no respect for the older generation (I'm 52.) They are condescending and give the "click" vibe. I was not in the "click" and often felt judged. I can take it, but if this may bother you, avoid this gym.

Don't get me wrong. I loved the coaches. Unfortunately, this gym is not for healthcare professionals who may be oncall or get called to go in last minute. If you cancel a scheduled time in less than 8 hours, they will attempt to charge you $18. This is on top of the $184.00 per month in membership fees, not to mention any extra charges for special workouts. When I signed up, I was told that if I called when I cancel, it was "no big deal" and the charge could be voided. In 5 months I cancelled maybe 3, 4 times. I would call and the first time, was fine but after that I was scolded by the receptionist. It was very uncomfortable to be treated like a child, by someone who appeared to be a child. I am 52. I was sore and called in to cancel and I was told I should show up anyway. "I get it, I have been sore too". I listened to my body and I was being chastized for it since I didn't actually go in and at least try (5 am class). They attempted to charge me for that cancel. Also, once I cancelled, in writing, 20 something days prior to the billing cycle, they still charged me the $183.00 monthly fee. Not only did I cancel, but I was suffering from shin splints and hadn't used the gym in weeks. After speaking with the manager, I was told she would call corporate and attempt to get the charge reversed (after a lot of unpleasant back and forth). I was told she would reach out to me by Monday. Nothing, no email, no phone call, nothing. I had to file a disput with my bank to get the funds reversed. It is a shame because I would have considered using Orangetheory at a later date, when my schedule allowed and I was no longer injured. It appears they care more about getting the immediate money, and do not focus on the money they can make by keeping their clients happy. The $183.00 charge meant more to them then possibly getting my business later. Also, if you need to use another Orangetheory gym, be prepared to pay for that as well. It is not free to use a gym other than your "home gym". The cardio is good, but if you are into more then cardio, this isn't for you. Their minimal strength building protion always seemed "extra", like they were doing unnecessary additions to effective exercises. Trying to be differant isn't always a good thing and in excercise, can lead to injury. I ended up keeping my membership to my other gym and thank goodness I did. I now do the HIIT on the treadmill by watching a YouTube video for instruction. You do not have to pay to do the workouts. You can do them anywhere.

This studio is one of the best I've been to. The coaches are all really great and attentive. I've been going to OTF for over a year now and the class is really made by how good the instructor is. I'd totally recommend this location to anyone trying to get in shape! OTF is really good for any fitness level.

I like that it's different every day and I like the coaches who actually show you how to use weights appropriately. I like when they see someone with the wrong form and go to them to show them how to do it right. I like that they push the mental side of the workouts. It's all in your head. If you tell yourself, you can't, you won't but if you tell yourself you can do anything for a few minutes, you will!

Working out has never been something I liked or wanted to do, however when Orange Theory was suggested to me, I decided to give it a whirl! And guess what? I love it! I work in our community so it’s fun to see people I know when I walk through the doors. I encouraged my friend to try it after my first class and now we work out together instead of meeting for coffee. Their theme weeks/classes keep it fresh and exciting. The new people I’ve met has been really fun and the instructors are great. I would encourage everyone to give it a try!

Update: I try fit three classes in per week, work and energy willing, and after missing 9 days, it feels so good to get back. Every coach, every workout, I can smile at myself in the mirror because I'm the one challenging myself.Discipline comes from within.I'll be going to the Hazel Dell location twice a week, Jada at the front gave me the rundown of how it works, but even better? No upselling, no hiding the fees, she even gave me the price including tax!A gym can have equipment, but a gym that's welcoming, transparent, with honest staff?I know my money is going to a better workout opportunity.

About 2 months in and absolutely loving OTF and this location! My husband and I both go together and we have never been so dedicated to a consistent workout routine until Orange Theory. The coaches are so helpful and motivating and the front desk staff is always really nice and friendly. They also checked in about once every couple weeks when we started to make sure we felt comfortable and didn't have any questions. Sure it's a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. I used to go to spin classes that were about the same cost and only a cardio workout. With OTF I feel like I'm getting a way better workout that has been beneficial for both cardio and building muscle. I saw some older reviews about having issues with being waitlisted for classes, but wanted to confirm that seems to no longer be a problem. We go to 5:30p weekday and 9:30a weekend classes and have never had to be on a wait list. I would say the only negative I have about this studio from what I've heard about others is that it is a little crammed for space compared to some other sites. It hasn't been an issue for me, but my 6'2" husband struggles a little bit when doing exercises by the rowers/treadmills. Not even close to a dealbreaker though!
